It’s really nice to go to a vet that’s just focused on cats. We’ve seen various doctors with our cats and they have all been good. We are first time cat owners and our cats are young without very serious health issues. They have been helpful for our boy’s URI, allergic reaction, and house soiling issue. Getting medications has been fairly easy, they are efficient at filling them whenever you choose. All the front desk staff have been caring and seem to love cats. We haven’t experienced any long wait times at the office. The lobby can get quite crowded and I would prefer increased ventilation of the lobby and exam rooms and some air purifiers to keep the guests, patients, and staff safe and comfortable. Other than this, the office and restroom are clean and in good shape.

The Cat Care Clinic Introduce
For cat owners in Orange, California, and the surrounding areas searching for a specialized "Pet Hospital Near Me" dedicated solely to feline health, The Cat Care Clinic, located at 2638 N Tustin St, Orange, CA 92865, USA, offers a unique veterinary experience. They can be contacted at (714) 282-2287 or their mobile number +1 714-282-2287.
A significant feature of The Cat Care Clinic, and one that many cat owners appreciate, is its exclusive focus on feline patients. As one reviewer noted, "It’s really nice to go to a vet that’s just focused on cats." This specialization suggests that the veterinarians and staff have a deep understanding of feline-specific health issues, behaviors, and needs, potentially leading to more tailored and effective care for your beloved cats.
Customers who have brought their cats to The Cat Care Clinic, including first-time cat owners, report positive experiences with the veterinarians. One reviewer mentioned, "We’ve seen various doctors with our cats and they have all been good." They also highlighted the clinic's helpfulness in addressing common feline issues such as upper respiratory infections (URI), allergic reactions, and house soiling problems in young cats. This indicates that The Cat Care Clinic provides care for a range of common feline ailments and offers support for new cat owners navigating these challenges.
The process of obtaining medications at The Cat Care Clinic appears to be efficient. According to one review, "Getting medications has been fairly easy, they are efficient at filling them whenever you choose." This convenience can be particularly important when dealing with a sick cat that requires timely medication.
The front desk staff also receive positive feedback for their demeanor. One customer noted that "All the front desk staff have been caring and seem to love cats." A caring and empathetic front desk can contribute significantly to a positive and reassuring experience when visiting a veterinary clinic, especially when pet owners are concerned about their sick animals.
Another positive aspect mentioned by a reviewer is the lack of long wait times at the office, stating, "We haven’t experienced any long wait times at the office." Efficient scheduling and patient flow are crucial for minimizing stress for both cats and their owners during veterinary visits.
However, some areas for potential improvement have been identified in the reviews. One customer pointed out that "The lobby can get quite crowded," and expressed a preference for "increased ventilation of the lobby and exam rooms and some air purifiers to keep the guests, patients, and staff safe and comfortable." Addressing air quality and crowding in waiting areas can enhance the overall comfort and safety of the clinic environment.
Despite the crowding concern, the same reviewer noted that "the office and restroom are clean and in good shape," indicating that cleanliness is generally maintained at The Cat Care Clinic.
Another reviewer had a more critical experience, mentioning that the "Front desk slow because too many customers to serve and not enough staff and are rather condescending at times." This suggests potential inconsistencies in front desk service, with some staff members being perceived as less than helpful. This is an area that could impact the overall customer experience.
The same reviewer also commented on the pricing, stating that the clinic is "pricey." While specialized care can sometimes come with higher costs, this is a factor that potential clients may want to consider. Additionally, this customer shared a negative experience regarding a cardiac echo procedure for their cat. They had to drop off their cat for the entire day because the cardiologist who performs the echo is not in-house and provides only a four-hour window of availability. This resulted in a long and potentially stressful wait for the cat. The reviewer expressed uncertainty about continuing to use The Cat Care Clinic due to this inconvenience and the higher cost.
Based on the available reviews, The Cat Care Clinic offers specialized veterinary care exclusively for cats, provided by knowledgeable veterinarians. They address a range of feline health issues, including common ailments and provide efficient medication services. The front desk staff are generally perceived as caring. However, potential drawbacks include a crowded lobby with potentially inadequate ventilation, occasional slow and condescending front desk service, higher prices, and the inconvenience of certain specialized procedures requiring all-day drop-offs due to visiting specialists.
Information regarding specific promotional offers is not available in the provided reviews. It is common for veterinary clinics to offer introductory discounts for new clients, vaccination packages, or seasonal promotions related to preventative care. Cat owners interested in potential promotions at The Cat Care Clinic should contact them directly to inquire about any current offers.
In conclusion, The Cat Care Clinic in Orange, CA, offers a specialized "Pet Hospital Near Me" for cat owners seeking feline-exclusive veterinary care. The focus on cats can be a significant advantage for those who prefer veterinarians with specific expertise in feline medicine. While the clinic receives positive feedback for its veterinarians and efficient medication services, potential clients should also be aware of the reported issues regarding lobby crowding, occasional front desk service concerns, higher costs, and the logistical challenges associated with certain specialized procedures. Visiting the clinic or contacting them directly may help local cat owners determine if The Cat Care Clinic meets their specific needs and preferences for their feline companions.

Feb 13, 2025 · A NFront desk slow because too many customers to serve and not enough staff and are rather condescending at times. The vet I saw was very good. I like that they treat just cats, but they are pricey. I had to get a cardiac echo for my fur baby and had to bring her in and drop her off for the WHOLE DAY because the doc who does them is not in-house and just gives them a 4 hour time frame that he will show up....SO my kitty had to just hang out there for HOURS before getting her procedure. Very stressful for her. Not sure if I will continue going here or go back to where I could have made the appointment and shown up and been done on time!
Feb 20, 2025 · Karen LoftusMy only go to for the cats. They handled our tortie so gently. Had a great murmur, so could not be sedated for doing the lion cut to avoid heavy matting of the fur. They always took their time and our cat was happy when she came home each time.
Mar 23, 2025 · Clay PinkertonDon't even bother with this place. First it took several calls for me to get ahold he has lost a lot of weight of anyone here I just continuously kept getting put on hold when I was calling to make an appointment. I have a sick cat and was asked to do a behavioral appointment for $120 and I guarantee you my cat has no behavioral issues. He is excessively urinating, he has loose stools, he has lost a lot of weight. Then I was told that if he has something blocked and he's a male cat that they don't have an appointment for a couple days. After hearing every excuse this place can come up with when trying to make an appointment I just gave up and I'm going to go to Banfield Pet Hospital since these people cannot seem to get it together. I'm actually truly frustrated with their disregard to a pet's health when they call themselves a vet
Feb 18, 2025 · CandiceMy god, they must be paying for reviews or something, this is a terrible nightmare place and I will be filing a complaint with the state licensing board as well. This place is an obvious scam meant to bilk thousands of dollars out of you without doing anything for your cat. I spent nearly $3k in nonsense procedures and useless antibiotics in 2024. They even stopped calling / following up with me about things. They would just wait for me to call and follow up and then they're like "oh yeah those $800 tests came back negative, but we can schedule you for another $800 test." I understand that the majority of their clients have husbands with near-limitless money, but it is still wrong for them to be taking thousands from people to scam them.
