The Animal Medical Center of Fort Oglethorpe

The vet is absolutely amazing & I’ll probably never go anywhere else now!! 💗 My sweet girl is already feeling so much better. Everybody was very kind & helpful.

I have never written a bad review for this company, but was told on the phone today that neither Dr felt comfortable with me bringing my dog in. They had no explanation, so I asked "did I write a bad review on your business?" And the girl said yes. Looked through my reviews and NO, I had not written a review. We've had to have our precious pets put down for old age and illnesses. Lexie, Sophie, & Tater..We trusted them to take care of all our dogs. I had my dog spayed there in 2016 she was my daughter who passed 5/16/15, so Daisy means very much to me, my last living connection to Andrea..We had our most recent spay done there in 2023. So I'm quite confused as to why we aren't welcome there. And that I was lied to about making a bad review. So here now is a bad review, to make them correct. I guess they can't tell the truth up there. Oh well, I know a few better places, not much further away, so,.bye bye Animal Medical Center. I had always thought fondly of them. My Daisy girl below!

Very caring Dr & staff. They made my little man, Capone feel super comfortable. Love this office!

I really like this hospital. They have been really nice,helpful, and caring with my dog. He had a Surgery for his Cherry eyes and this Doctor fixed them . There was a time where he hurt his self by running to fast and jumped on the couch and the Doctor was so nice and helped me thru that. I love this Lady and her Staff they are all sweet and so helpful !! I've been going to this same place but on 58 Hwy then I moved to Georgia so I transferred to Fort Oglethorpe location and both hospitals have been Great..

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE – GO TO RINGGOLD ANIMAL HOSPITAL INSTEAD! I had been bringing my dog to Animal Medical Center in Fort Oglethorpe since he was 8 weeks old. At his 14-week appointment, they let me sit in the waiting room for 30 minutes before publicly refusing to see us over a supposed bill from 2014—something they never mentioned when they confirmed my appointment two days prior. I was in complete shock! I’m not even sure how you can go to a vet and still owe a bill—and if I had owed anything, I would have paid it! But instead of handling it professionally, they humiliated me in front of other people at the front desk. They had seen me multiple times for my new puppy, yet suddenly decided to bring this up and refuse care. Completely unprofessional. On top of that, this vet pushes early neutering, which can seriously harm your dog’s development. Dr. Emerson at Ringgold Animal Hospital (near Little Caesars) actually cares about your pet, takes time to educate you, and does what’s best for their health. If you love your pet, DO NOT GO HERE—TAKE THEM TO RINGGOLD ANIMAL HOSPITAL INSTEAD!
