Taylor Deborah DVM Introduce

Dr. Deborah DVM, a key figure at Auburn South Veterinary Hospital located at 4201 A St SE, Auburn, WA 98002, USA, embodies the clinic's dedication to providing exceptional veterinary care. Operating alongside her husband, Dr. Kyle Taylor, whom she met during their pre-veterinary studies at Washington State University, Dr. Deborah Taylor (DVM) has been an integral part of this Auburn community staple since they jointly purchased the hospital in June 1999 from its original founder. Prior to this, Dr. Deborah Taylor earned her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 1991 from Washington State University and practiced for eight years at Twin Lakes Veterinary Hospital in Federal Way. This extensive experience, combined with their shared vision, has shaped Auburn South Veterinary Hospital into a trusted and cherished resource for pet owners. The hospital is readily accessible by phone at (253) 804-8000 or mobile at +1 253-804-8000, serving as a comprehensive pet hospital that offers a wide array of services and goods, all delivered with a profound emphasis on compassionate and individualized care.

The environment at Auburn South Veterinary Hospital is consistently highlighted by clients as exceptionally welcoming and calming, fostering a sense of comfort for both pets and their owners. Reviews emphasize that "Upon arrival, the staff is so welcoming," immediately setting a positive tone. This welcoming atmosphere is crucial, especially for pets who may experience anxiety during vet visits, such as the fearful Rottweiler mentioned in one review. The fact that the clinic actively "cared to get to know her better or to make sure she’s comfortable" speaks volumes about their patient-centric approach. The physical space is implicitly designed to support this calm demeanor, likely featuring comfortable waiting areas, quiet examination rooms, and thoughtful touches that minimize stress. The consistent praise for the staff's kindness and the doctors' willingness to "take their time with our pets" further contributes to an environment where animals feel at ease, creating a less stressful experience for all involved.

Auburn South Veterinary Hospital offers a comprehensive range of veterinary services, designed to meet the diverse healthcare needs of pets throughout their lives. These services are delivered with a focus on client interaction, compassionate care, and a strong acknowledgment of the human-animal bond. While a complete exhaustive list of all services is best obtained directly from the hospital, based on typical offerings of a reputable full-service pet hospital and insights from reviews, their services likely include:

  • Preventative and Wellness Care: This is the cornerstone of their practice, including routine annual examinations, tailored vaccination protocols to protect against common diseases, and parasite prevention and control programs. Wellness visits are emphasized to monitor overall health and detect issues early.

  • Diagnostic Services: The hospital is equipped to provide comprehensive diagnostic services to accurately assess pets' health. This typically includes in-house laboratory testing (blood work, urinalysis, fecal exams), digital radiography (X-rays), and potentially ultrasound capabilities for detailed imaging.

  • Surgical Services: They perform a range of surgical procedures, from routine spays and neuters to more complex soft tissue surgeries, always with a strong emphasis on patient safety, pain management, and post-operative care.

  • Dental Care: Comprehensive dental services, including cleanings, extractions, and oral health assessments, are vital for maintaining a pet's overall well-being and preventing systemic health issues.

  • Internal Medicine: Diagnosis and management of various internal diseases and chronic conditions, providing long-term care and support for pets with complex health needs.

  • Behavioral Counseling: As highlighted by the review concerning the fearful Rottweiler, the clinic demonstrates a commitment to understanding and addressing behavioral issues. Dr. Deb Taylor specifically handles behavioral consults, offering advice on issues such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, house soiling, and aggression.

  • Pharmacy: They offer both in-clinic and online access to a complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, flea and tick control products, heartworm preventatives, and a full line of prescription diets.

  • Emergency Care Referrals: While they are explicitly stated as "NOT AN EMERGENCY FACILITY," they undoubtedly provide guidance and referrals for after-hours or critical emergency care situations, ensuring continuous support for their clients.

  • Senior Pet Care: Given their long-standing relationships with clients (some for 25+ years), they certainly provide specialized care for geriatric pets, addressing age-related conditions and maintaining quality of life.

The distinctive features of Dr. Deborah DVM and Auburn South Veterinary Hospital are deeply rooted in their personalized and compassionate approach, which has fostered remarkable client loyalty over decades. A key feature is the genuine connection established between the veterinary team and the pets. As one client notes, the doctors "never rush through an appointment, but rather take their time with our pets, helping them feel calm and comfortable." This patient-first philosophy is a cornerstone of their practice. The ability to correctly diagnose conditions while explaining "possible causes" without "trying to fleece us for money" indicates a high level of integrity and a commitment to educating pet owners, empowering them to make informed decisions without feeling pressured. This transparency and honesty build profound trust. The longevity of client relationships, spanning "25+ years," speaks volumes about the consistent quality of care and the strong bonds formed with families. Furthermore, the explicit emphasis on acknowledging "the human-animal bond" as a focus for Dr. Kyle Taylor and the involvement of their children in providing "love and care to the patients" create a truly unique and deeply personal veterinary experience that goes beyond mere medical treatment.

In terms of promotional information, Auburn South Veterinary Hospital would likely emphasize its long-standing reputation, the expertise and compassionate nature of Dr. Deborah and Dr. Kyle Taylor, and their comprehensive service offerings. Key promotional aspects would include:

I have a Rottweiler who is fearful around strangers, and never before has a veterinary clinic cared to get to know her better or to make sure shes comfortable. The vet let us know what's going on but also let us know possible causes, which i've never experienced before. Everyone was so kind and now my baby is going to feel better. couldn't ask for more!

The staff is always so caring and treat me and my cats with respect and kindness. We had a staff member who drew the name of my cats in little cards and that was a lovely surprise. It is the details that makes you feel like you’re not just another patient.
