Tavares Animal Hospital

The staff at Tavares Animal Clinic got us in on short notice. They were pleasant and efficient. Dr. Budd was highly knowledgeable and professional. She called me personally with test results for my baby. I recommend this practice highly.

We took our precious cat, Bamboo, who is 14 years old, to Tavares Animal Hospital today for a Senior cat check and a severe infection of his right ear. The whole staff at this facility is professional, organized, compassionate, competent, and most importantly, they love our animals! Bamboo was seen by Dr. MacKenzie Ness, veterinary medicine and veterinary technician, Summer. They both answered questions thoroughly, treated Bamboo with the utmost care, and he was given a complete physical with lab tests, exam. It was very busy in the waiting area with at least 6 dogs. I highly recommend Tavares Animal Hospital and will bring my cats back to Dr. Ness when it's medically necessary.

I’ve been taking my pup to them for a little over a year now, and they have done such a wonderful job. They have an amazing staff who are very friendly and informative. I highly recommend them when it comes to making sure your fur babies are taken care of. ♥️

I dropped off my 2 birds for adoption and the staff was great helping me getting their cages fixed up the way they like it,I know they will be well taken care of.

I'm an Iraq Veteran and last week had a difficult decision to make about my ESA, Simon. I grew up in Lake County but I live on the gulf coast. Simon and I had 13 years together and had many adventures but the one I'll remember best is last summer's two month tent camping excursion in the high country of Colorado. I always told him he was the best dog ever and where I went, he went as much as possible. I brought him to TAH as a first timer there and everything went as expected and planned. Dr. Huffines, as I told him, was just the doc I was hoping to find. He was gentle, personable and compassionate. Simon seemed to relax right away when he handled him and that made me feel good to know he was relaxed. The techs and environment in general were professional and caring. I took Simon's body to my childhood home in the country and spent the week beautifying his grave site forever known as "Simon's Garden". When I returned home, here in Palmetto, I had a very thoughtful card waiting for me signed by all the docs. I'll never forget my sweet Simon and the compassion he was surrounded by in his final moments and I highly recommend TAH based on this
