Nice folks but If it wasn't up the street would not be my vet. Nickel and dime you every chance. Flea meds expensive enough, won't sell me a 6 pack bc the appointment is in 3 months. So sell me 1 pack at $10 extra per pill. After weve been going there for years. Never buying meds from y'all again.

Nov 15, 2024 · Gorav SethDr. Malachi is amazing. I trust her advice and care for our dog, Diva. When they see each other, they always treat each other like old friends. I am always pleased with our experience.
Aug 26, 2024 · Keisha Streeter-Clark (Kstreet202)A wonderful place for veterinary care. The staff is friendly and welcoming. My only issue is the lack of parking in the area. Be prepared to walk a ways from your car to the vet's office.
Sep 21, 2024 · Nathan Weber***DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE*** I do not know what this place was like a year or more ago, but currently this is the WORST place to take your pets. We recently moved to the area and previously our 3 year old Chihuahua LOVED the vet. We went to this place because it was very close. After getting a small bump checked out on our dogs foot, they insisted on a biopsy and surgery without giving us any information on what would take place. We went to another vet for a second opinion, (to which they said the bump can be remedied with an epson salt bath, and it has helped tremendously) and after getting records transferred our new vet notified us that Takoma Park Animal Clinic PUT A MUZZLE ON OUR DOG WITHOUT OUR PERMISSION AND NEVER TOLD US. Our dog is not a biter, she has never bitten, and certainly hasn’t bitten any of their vets. I am beyond livid at finding this out, and this place desperately needs to be shut down. Additionally, we have been going here for about 6 months, and the head vet has changed about 2 or 3 times. Not a good sign.
Jul 08, 2024 · Duryeaux Taylori know this is not typical, and that's why i'm sharing. my mother was my father's full time caretaker, and their dog was way too excitable. i had plans to stay with them and help toward the end, but the dog was so bonkers that i had to leave the house because he could not calm down / stop barking at me. it was crazy making. so the vet prescribed some meds and delivered them to my mother the same day because she couldn't leave my father alone. really above and beyond in a moment of true need.
