Welcome to Susquehanna Valley Veterinary
For animal owners in and around Paxinos, Pennsylvania, Susquehanna Valley Veterinary, located at 527 Olive Rd, Paxinos, PA 17860, serves as a local "Pet Hospital" providing veterinary services. You can reach them at (570) 850-1321 or +1 570-850-1321. Based on the limited customer reviews available, there are contrasting opinions regarding the staff, specifically mentioning an individual named Jackie. However, the clinic is also noted for its expertise in caring for larger and more exotic animals, such as horses and camels, and for having reasonable fees.
Given the limited information about the physical environment, we can infer that as a "Pet Hospital," Susquehanna Valley Veterinary would have the necessary facilities to examine and treat animals. This would typically include examination rooms, and depending on the scope of their services, potentially surgical suites, diagnostic imaging equipment, and areas for housing recovering animals. One reviewer described the care provided by "Jackie" as "low class" with a "terrible bedside manner," which doesn't directly comment on the physical environment but suggests a potentially negative atmosphere during interactions. Conversely, the other reviewer praised Jackie's knowledge and the reasonableness of the fees, implying a functional and perhaps economically accessible clinic.
The services offered at Susquehanna Valley Veterinary appear to extend beyond typical small companion animals, as one reviewer specifically mentioned Jackie's excellent care of their horse and camel. This indicates a specialization or at least competence in large animal veterinary care, which might be a unique feature for a "Pet Hospital" in the area. The reviewer also highlighted Jackie's extensive knowledge about camels, a less common animal, suggesting a niche expertise that could be invaluable for owners of such animals. While the reviews do not detail the full range of services, it is likely that they also provide care for more common pets. Standard "Pet Hospital" services would typically include routine check-ups, vaccinations, treatment for illnesses and injuries, and potentially surgical procedures. The mention of reasonable fees suggests that they strive to provide accessible veterinary care.
A key feature of Susquehanna Valley Veterinary, as highlighted by one positive review, is the expertise in caring for horses and, notably, camels. For owners of these types of animals in the region, this specialized knowledge could be a significant draw, especially since finding a veterinarian knowledgeable about camels is reportedly "hard to find in this area." The reasonable fees mentioned by this reviewer also stand out as a positive feature, making quality veterinary care more accessible. However, another review presents a starkly different perspective, describing Jackie as "Extremely rude" and "Extremely unprofessional," with "Total unacceptable" communication and "low class care." This conflicting feedback suggests that the experience at this clinic might depend significantly on the individual staff member one interacts with.
No specific promotional information for Susquehanna Valley Veterinary is included in the provided text. It is not uncommon for veterinary clinics to offer introductory offers for new clients or other types of promotions. To find out if Susquehanna Valley Veterinary is currently running any specials or has any specific programs, local users would need to contact the clinic directly.
In conclusion, Susquehanna Valley Veterinary in Paxinos, PA, presents a mixed picture based on the available reviews. On one hand, there is strong praise for Jackie's knowledge and care, particularly regarding horses and camels, and the clinic's reasonable fees. This suggests a valuable resource for owners of these animals and potentially others seeking affordable care. On the other hand, there is a significant concern raised about Jackie's professional demeanor and communication skills by another reviewer. For local users seeking a "Pet Hospital," Susquehanna Valley Veterinary, reachable at (570) 850-1321, offers specialized care for large and exotic animals and affordable pricing as potential benefits. However, the reported issues with staff conduct should also be taken into consideration. To get a clearer understanding of their services and current practices, contacting the clinic directly is recommended.
