From the first appointment i was impressed! My dog had a right front leg tumor that was very aggressive. We made the decision to amputate. I was very afraid of how i would do with the aftercare. Everyone was very reassuring. He has hit every milestone and usually far ahead of the expected schedule. I would recommend them to anyone facing this type of life changing surgery! Even if you don't have a pet in need consider donating to them, they're a non-profit and the costs are considerably less partly due to donations.

Dr. Kurt was amazing. He took care of our baby. Every other hospital told us she had an infection in her stomach from her never getting pregnant. But Dr. Kurt found out she had cancer. He removed as much as he could. We wasn’t sure how long she would be with us, one day one month one year but by the grace of God and this amazing doctor it is now 4 years later and counting. Thank you for being a blessing in our lives. Our furbabys actually name is Blessings. 😊❤️ Hope you all remembered us and the cookies we gifted you, as we will always remember you. Thank you.

I cannot express how grateful I am to Dr. Kurt for saving our baby's life! Scoobie had an obstruction in her small intestine and luckily, the practice was able to squeeze us in the next day! She was throwing up all week, not eating or defacting, and was extremely lethargic. Dr. Kurt and his team laid out everything we needed to know and was super helpful in explaining the procedures, risks, and affordable pricing. We cannot thank SurgiPet enough!

One of the best experiences I've ever had with a vet! TL;DR they gave us extremely personable and compassionate care while also providing one of the cheapest estimates around. Longer version: our dog Ty was diagnosed with bladder stones and needed a cystotomy. We got a quote from his full service vet for $2,400 almost (not including the $800 to diagnose him). We just had a newborn 2 months ago who is starting daycare, a 4 year old in daycare, and had to say goodbye to our 13 year old dog, Luca, a month ago so we were stressing about how we save Ty without becoming destitute. Dr Kurt and the Surgipet team saved the day! After our first vet visit with Sugar Hill Animal Hospital, we visited Lanier Animal Hospital, and Value Vet. None could see Ty in a time frame that would help him and, apart from Value Vet, no one else was close in their cost. While we were willing to go to the first place with availability, we really lucked out with the team here. Not only were Dr Kurt and the team extremely invested in making sure Ty, my wife, and I were very confident in their care, they were also less than 50% cheaper than the full service places we went to. It was as good of an experience as we could hope for and they prioritized his care while also being extremely transparent about the cost. Our biggest complaint with other vets is we never seem to know if we are getting taken advantage of because of our desire to help our pets. Surgipet was completely different and I really appreciated that there were no surprises when paying. Ty is recovering really well (though he hates the cone and pajamas) and we couldn't be happier with the experience with Dr Kurt and the team!

I was thrilled with the care my dog received from SurgiPet. She had a mass on her mouth that needed to be removed, and possible teeth that needed to be extracted. At the consultation, the doctor went over everything they suggested doing and made a good plan for the surgery. The surgery itself was quick, and when it was done, the mass was gone and you could barely tell it was ever there. Plus, upon looking at her teeth the doctor decided they didn't need to be removed, so they didn't put her through the extra pain, and me through the extra cost. They even cut her nails. I'm not sure I would have been able to afford this treatment to improve my dogs health without SurgiPet. Please consider donating as they rely on them to save pet's lives.

SurgiPet was a true lifesaver. I cannot say enough about the highly competent and compassionate care we received for our 1.5 year old cat. After a terrible experience with the private sector in veterinary care, we were lucky to find this place... From the beginning, SurgiPet staff provided excellent care, from communicating about logistics to scheduling surgery to the surgery itself and post-surgical care instructions and follow up. The surgeon was professional, kind and honest, and highly skilled in performing the surgery that our cat needed. SurgiPet uphold the values that are so important for veterinary care at a time when these values are being replaced by cold revenue.
