There was once upon a time that I recommended this office above every other vet clinic in North Brevard. I have been taking my animals to her for 8 years and never wanted to take them anywhere else, but the quality of care has drastically declined among Dr. Ely and her staff in the last few visits. Overall, the office does not have the same welcoming atmosphere or compassion as it did a few years ago. I'm not sure what happened with Dr. Ely's business or personal life to cause such a change but I wish them the best. I strongly recommend any new patients to go somewhere else. Edit in response to the owner's reply, which I am assuming is Dr. Ely herself: A Google review is for your clients to share their experiences about your practice on a public platform. You can accept it as constructive criticism or not - what you do with my opinion is none of my care or concern. These same concerns have already been brought to your attention based on the numerous 1-star reviews you've recently gotten. When I first started coming to your practice, I chose you because you had a high rating of 4.8 stars. You are now at a 4.1. Most of those negative reviews all appear to be within the last year or so, all making similar claims and you responded in the same deflective manner to each one. If it is also "rude, inappropriate, or unprofessional" of me to make any reference to your personal life, it is also rude, inappropriate, and unprofessional of you to use a family emergency as an excuse to a negative review or announce it on your social media by that same logic. You should notice that I made no "speculation" as to what goes on in your personal life OR practice, I simply made a reference to it. The reality is that nothing I have said thus far is inherently hostile or inflammatory - you just get easily offended by what people think of you. I hope you can eventually learn something from the feedback you've been given to improve the care you provide to pets.

This vet exhibits very poor medical understanding. Additionally, they maliciously use their client's lack of understanding about medical processes in order to incite fear and peddle unnecessary diagnostics and treatments. This kind of behavior is frowned on in the medical community, why accept this kind of treatment when it comes to your pet?

Sunrise Animal Hospital took care of my dog in an emergency situation with care and patience. I called the morning after a very scary night, and they were able to fit us in first thing. The staff executed warmth and professionalism, making us both feel welcome and cared for. Dr. Ely is and her staff are not only highly skilled but also incredibly compassionate. They took the time to listen attentively to my concerns and patiently answered all my questions. It's evident they truly love animals and are dedicated to providing the best possible care. During our visit, I was impressed by how gentle they were with my dog, who can be quite nervous at the vet. It's clear they understand that each animal is unique and requires individualized attention. Sunrise Animal Hospital has earned my trust, and I am confident in bringing both of my dogs to see Dr. Ely in the future.

Dr. Ely does an excellent job in caring for your pets. She also teaches you how to care for your fur babies. We highly recommend Sunrise Animal Hospital.
