We could not be happier with our kitten from Sunova Siberian Cattery! The whole process of visiting the cattery, selecting a kitten, and then making him ours was easy. From the beginning, we could tell that Brooke and Aleksey took cat breeding seriously. Their dedicated cat rooms are clean and organized. They also have basic veterinary capabilities (including ultrasound) for monitoring their soon-to-be moms. Brooke stayed in touch throughout the process and sent us photos before our little guy was old enough to bring home. Brooke and Aleksey did a great job of developing Mishmish into a kitten who is well socialized with humans, affectionate, and has even been handled enough that it’s easy to trim his nails. We have not had any issues with litterbox training or other unwanted behavior. I am allergic to cats, and I have had no problems whatsoever. I highly recommend Sunova!

We contacted Brooke and another Siberian cattery when we first started our search for a kitten. From the moment we received their response to our inquiry, we knew we wanted to work with Brooke and Alex. Their cattery is exceptionally well taken care of, and their love and care for the cats and kittens are evident in all our communications, even before we joined the waiting list. Brooke has been breeding cats since 2019, and her expertise and professionalism are impressive. She was quick to respond to our questions, even after we had received our kitten, and as first-time kitten owners, we had many inquiries. She took the time to sit with us, listen to our story, and understand our future plans, ultimately helping us find a kitten that matched our goals. When we reserved Ayla, Brooke kept us updated by sending photos over the weeks leading up to our pick-up, including adorable pictures of Ayla as a tiny newborn when she learned I was putting together a digital photo album for our new kitten. My husband and I were looking for a kitten that would be playful, comfortable outdoors, affectionate, and good around children. Ayla has proven to be all of these things. She traveled with us to Canada for the holidays, joining us for a family gathering with older relatives and spending time with young boys aged 2 and 4 on New Year's Day. Although she was a bit shy at first, she soon came out to play and interact with everyone. Ayla also loves her routines and is learning "tricks" with me. While we haven't mastered everything yet, she does well with finger targeting and recognizes her name and nicknames, as well as what a clicker signifies. My husband and I are absolutely delighted with Ayla and the experience we've had working with Brooke and Alex. If we ever decide to get another Siberian kitten, we will definitely reach out to them again. P.S. I should mention that Brooke managed all of this while working, pregnant, showing her cats, maintaining social media for her cattery, and caring for two other litters at the same time. She is truly a fantastic person!

Our kittens couldn’t have been raised in better hands. It’s so clear that Brooke truly cares about them and their wellbeing at the absolute highest level. She’s not only super knowledgeable, with a nursing background, but also very ethical and incredibly responsive. We were especially impressed by the care she puts into her breeding program, including heart and DNA screenings for the parent cats to ensure they’re as healthy as possible. She also gave us a detailed care guide and some little toys and harnesses for the kittens. Our kittens are so sweet and loveable—it took them hardly any time to adjust, and they seem like such happy little kitties. Even our vet commented on how healthy they are! I can’t thank Brooke enough for giving our sweet babies the best possible start in life. We’re so grateful!

Honestly just dm me if you have questions about my experience. My kitten’s parents are Raya and Aidoneus and she’s perfect. I wanted to wait a couple months after I got her to make a decently thorough review but I’m sure I’ll update this after some time. CHOOSING MY CAT AND PREPARATION: First, when I was inquiring about a cat I sent Brooke a ton of pictures of cats from their reviews and she named every single one. She clearly cares for these kittens and does her best to make sure they go to good homes. Alex and Brooke were very helpful with preparing for a cat and understanding exactly what I would need to do once I got a kitten. They made sure I was prepared to take on this responsibility. When I chose my kitten they were so helpful and accommodating. I didn’t feel pressured to choose one and they didn’t rush my choice at all. In fact, they actually pushed me to take longer to make sure I was satisfied with my choice (and I was loving the fact that I was surrounded by kittens). At the time they were incredibly busy and still were very accommodating. Afterwards, I also got to meet the other cats and I have NEVER seen such sweet and affectionate kittens in my entire life. I was absolutely baffled by how kind and gentle they were. Every single one of them I honestly didn’t understand it but now I get it with how nice my kitten is. PREPARING ME AND MY CAT As I said before Alex and Brooke helped so much in making sure I was ready for a cat. Giving me guides on what toys, foods, supplements, litter, etc they recommend for their kittens. When I had a question I was able to text Brooke and her response times are so fast and informative. She was so patient with me it made me feel very comfortable asking even the simplest questions. I stated that I planned on having my cat around dogs and she had my kitten introduced to a (trusted and calm) dog before I picked her up for exposure. She also gave her the necessary vaccines to do so. I gave Brooke the name I chose and it was on all of the papers I was provided. My kitten was microchipped and ready to go once I picked her up. AFTER BRINGING THE CAT HOME My god she’s an angel. The best decision I’ve ever made was getting her. Right off the bat she was very curious and ready to go. Immediately ate food and used the litter box (granted I did use the same food and she was using). She was very playful off of the bat. My apartment is 750 square feet. I initially brought her to the bathroom and then slowly introduced her to the living room. The next day she had explored the whole apartment. She is incredibly quiet tho and I lost her a couple of times behind a box so be careful. MEETING OTHER PEOPLE This is definitely a per cat experience. My cat is very friendly and is great with meeting new people. She is interested in meeting them and everyone is surprised at how nice she is considering the other cats they meet. She will let other people pet her and even pick her up. She doesn’t bite or scratch to get away from someone but instead wriggles around to give a clear sign she wants to be let down. The only bites or scratches I have received were when she was playing but never have they been too painful. She’s a bit fussy when trying to cut her nails or brushing her but nothing terrible. Same applies to the vet. I’ve been on two flights with her and while she definitely wasn’t happy she wasn’t being obnoxious. I gave her some gabapentin and she slept for 3/5 hours each way. MEETING OTHER CATS Really depends on the other cat but she was never bad when meeting them. I’m not quite sure how cat meetings normally go but my kitten makes them a lot easier with how outgoing my she is. The experience at the cattery has properly prepared her for a variety of cats of all attitudes and sizes, assuming they are somewhat friendly or come around eventually (as multiple meetings).
