So thankful for the compassionate and caring groomer that helped in a crisis! My pup got sprayed by a skunk and she went above and beyond to aid me in getting my boy a good bath to attempt to reduce the smell and discomfort. She communicated with me every step of the way and took on a spur of the moment Saturday groom. Thankful for the friendly office staff as well for their kind words!

Sumner Springs Veterinary Clinic Introduce
Welcome to the local introduction of Sumner Springs Veterinary Clinic, a pet hospital located at 1112 Hartsville Pike, Gallatin, TN 37066, USA. You can reach them at (615) 452-1438 or +1 615-452-1438.
As a pet hospital, Sumner Springs Veterinary Clinic aims to provide essential services for your beloved animals. Based on available information, the clinic offers grooming services, with one customer specifically highlighting a compassionate and caring groomer who went above and beyond during a pet emergency involving a skunk. This positive feedback suggests a friendly and helpful staff in the grooming department.
However, it's important to consider all feedback. One customer reported a negative experience regarding transparency in pricing, mentioning unexpected emergency fees added to the standard office visit. This customer also described feeling rushed during their appointment, a lack of thorough wound care for their cat, and subsequent complications leading to emergency surgery at another clinic. This review raises concerns about the clarity of fees, the thoroughness of veterinary assessments, and the overall quality of care in certain situations.
While one review praises the groomer and friendly office staff, the other presents serious concerns about pricing transparency, the quality of veterinary care provided in at least one instance, and the potential consequences of what the customer perceived as inadequate treatment.
We encourage local users to consider all available feedback when making decisions about their pet's care. Contact Sumner Springs Veterinary Clinic directly at the provided phone numbers for more information about their services, environment, and current promotional offers.

Mar 08, 2025 · Shelby JohnsonI had a very disappointing experience at Sumner Springs/Enoch Vet and would not recommend them. When I made the appointment, they were not upfront about pricing and failed to mention that an emergency fee would be added on top of the standard office visit fee. Had I known, I would have gone elsewhere. Once I arrived, the appointment felt rushed. The vet assessed my cat’s injury, but the entire process felt like they were in a hurry. At one point, a vet tech briefly questioned whether the wound should be closed, but the vet quickly dismissed it without much discussion. They did not provide any actual wound care, yet I was charged nearly $400. Unfortunately, because the wound was left untreated, it has since become necrotic, and my cat now requires emergency surgery at another clinic to save his leg. This could have been prevented if proper care had been given in the first place. Instead, I am now facing even higher costs and the stress of an urgent medical situation that should have never escalated this far. I do not feel that I received quality care for what I paid, and the lack of transparency, rushed service, and failure to properly treat my cat’s wound make it clear that this clinic does not prioritize patient well-being. I strongly recommend seeking care elsewhere.
Feb 27, 2025 · Gabrielle ElliottWe received 2 rescue kittens literally at midnight two nights ago and they got them both in the same day. They are brother and sister. Sister who we named Sassy had a horrible infection in her left eye when we got them and Dr. Bates is just amazing! Little brother, Simon is healthy thank God. We have to take Sassy back Saturday to see if she gets to keep her eye. We are claiming and believing in Jesus name she will get to keep her eye. She has been receiving antibiotics and pain medicine round the clock. This was our first time at this clinic and everyone was absolutely wonderful! The atmosphere is wonderful. The staff and Dr. Bates are truly in this business for the love of animals. We are transferring all our other fur babies here because another local clinic has no empathy or compassion for the fur babies under their care. We immediately felt at home here and that even includes other people there with their babies. I loved the waiting room, talking to others and loving on their fur babies as well. Thank you to the staff and Dr. Bates for showing us you love and care for our fur babies as much as we do. We will never go anywhere else. So happy a friend recommended them!
Jan 10, 2024 · Heather RobertsI waited 45 min to be seen. New to the area and looking for a new vet for my fur babies. My previous vet asked which one I was checking in by name… this Vet has no personal touch. Had no idea if I had a cat or a dog/breed/ect. $173 later ($55 offered ce visit) office visit included looking at my Rinne, listening to her heart, looking at her fur and prescribing meds. Nope. Will not be back.:(
