I had a 5 star experience for my first time here! The lady at the reception ran to open the door for me and couldn't have been nicer. She put this pheromone bandana on my dog I guess to calm her down but everyone at Summit was extremely polite and welcoming. Before preforming ANY vaccines/procedures they went over an itemized pricing list to make sure I was okay with the price before committing (which in my opinion is”was very fair pricing). They offered me snacks, drinks, gave me a gift bag with a dog cupcake, a coconut scented candle and a certificate for my dog being so great!! 10/10 would recommend because they were so friendly, informative, transparent and made us feel so special!!

Our first experience with Summit was end of life care for our cat. The staff was empathetic, thoughtful, kind and honest during the experience. We’ve been looking for a decent vet in the area since we moved a year ago. The care our cat and even us received was so profound we will be swapping our dog’s records over to this location for future visits. Thank you for listening to our concerns and treating our family with as much respect and empathy as you all did!

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. And I don’t write reviews often, but I feel that I have to express how wonderful this place is. I’ve worked in the animal/veterinary field for over 8 years, and I have never encountered such a compassionate and truly healthy clinic before. I take my dogs to them, and I am able to leave them there without a single worry in my mind. The way they interact with every patient and client just blows me away. Their care for the patients is more than evident in everything that they do, and they live by their values of caring for each pet as their own. The vets are extremely knowledgeable, and the techs always explain everything they are doing in detail every step of the way. They listen to the clients with empathy, and they treat the animals with such kindness and understanding. They embody the fear free methods flawlessly, and I feel so much comfort bringing my little anxious rescue pups to them. They’ve been outstanding as vets and techs, and I couldn’t trust any other clinic with my pets like I can with Summit Veterinary Care. I make the 40 minute drive to them without any regrets because of how amazing they are. Can’t say enough good things about this place. If you’re an owner with a nervous baby like me, then this is the right clinic to visit. Worth every penny spent.

I visited Summit Veterinary Care with my very sick cat. While I ended up having to make a very difficult choice, the staff was amazing and compassionate. They were very supportive, professional, and patient with me. I couldn't have asked for better people to help me through such a difficult evening. I will be forever grateful for their kindness. Also, I had read comments about their prices. I had some testing done on my cat and found their prices reasonable for the services I received. I cannot recommend them enough! Thank you all so much!

I feel very lucky to have found Summit Veterinary Care. Both of my cats are very nervous at the vet office normally. But they had a completely different experience at Summit.😻😻 Before the appointment, I filled out a complete history form, including their emotional needs. I was asked to bring their favorite treats and toys so they would feel more comfortable. Soon as I walked through the door I was greeted kindly by the front desk staff. I was taken back to a room so my kitties could get used to the new environment. Pamela LVT took a thorough history and provided excellent care to my fur kids. Dr Kirk was extremely knowledgeable and kind. Both LVTs and Dr Kirk took their time and met my cats "where they were at". I didn't feel rushed at all. I felt like all my questions were answered. My little orange female kitty was the bravest I have ever seen her at the vet office and would do anything for treats. She loved the little purple hidey-hole they had in the room. Having previously worked in the field of veterinary medicine, I was nervous about going to a new veterinary clinic. But I had nothing to be nervous about!!! Summit provides excellent medical care🏥, client education and patient care. Their dedication to creating a fear free environment has made all the difference to my orange kitties 🧡🧡I would strongly recommend them to anyone lookong for compassionate care for their dogs and cats.❤️😸🐶
