Stone Ave Vet

I don’t know how this happened - but I love my vet like I love my hair dresser!! I write this review knowing that in doing so, I may be revealing the secret gold that is Stone Ave Veterinary and thus never getting an ideal appointment time again. Alas, I will selflessly share as many did with me and let you in on the greatest decision you may ever make for your fluffy friends… As a new pet mom, I felt my nerves melt away the actual moment I walked through the office doors. Without saying a word, they called my two kittens by name and welcomed us back to our private waiting room where we were offered treats (for the babies) and snacks (for me). The appointment went so well, I was honestly sad to leave (SAD - have you ever been sad to leave the vet - I think not). Dr. Oz and her team are the kindest and most knowledgeable crew. If you are a type A animal mom like yours truly (and let’s be honest, if you’ve made it this far in a random google review… you are), they will sit with you, unhurried, and answer all of your questions with excitement, celebrating your small wins with sincerity. Finding someone who loves your animals like you do is such a rare gift - so - you are officially welcome and if you could - take the middle of the day slots when you book as a thank you to me :)

I had absolutely the best experience at this vet clinic. I've never met more loving and caring people. Absolutely, I could not be more happy with their services, and I highly recommend them to anyone who is looking for a good veterinarian. Shout out to Dr. Whitney Ozment, she is not only an amazing veterinarian but an extraordinary person who truly cares about her clients. And the rest of the staff are just as wonderful.

I could not be happier with our switch to Stone Ave Vet! I have two cats, one of which can be quite spicy at the vet. He has never so much as hissed in our 4 or 5 visits with Dr. Oz. I appreciate their separate cat spaces and the timing of how they prepare my cats for their appointments. They take their time to make sure the cats have explored, smelled, and settled down enough for a calm appointment. They make me, as a cat owner, feel like they really care about cats and their behavioral health. This is the 7th vet we have been to in Greenville and the fear free facility at Stone Ave makes our experience there superior to the others. I can tell my cat is a happier boy after being treated here ❤️

Loved our first visit with Dr. Porter! Everything was better than even expected! Naomi at the front desk was so welcoming and made us feel right at home! Kayla was the vet tech that came in first to see Rosie and was just great! Dr Porter is phenomenal!! She even got down in the floor with Rosie to check her and make her not to be so scared! It was a great visit ! So glad we chose Stone Ave Vet for Rosie’s care !!

This is the BEST vet I have ever had. I have two little shih tzu mutts, one has (recently) developed anxiety at the vet, and the other is my problem child who is chronically ill. Dr. Oz and our usual vet assistant Jenna King are amazing! Are you looking for comprehensive, compassionate affordable vet care? This is the place for you. We get a multi-pet family discount in their exam fees (50 dollars a dog), and they don’t charge extra for same day visits. With my anxious dog, they are so kind and understanding. With my sick dog, this is the only vet who hasn’t jumped directly to behavioral, and has believed that there’s something bothering my dog. She also has been able to link us to so many resources that I would not be able to access without her. When things get emotional, Dr. Oz is always there with a hug. I have never felt like I was part of a family at a vet office before, but because we are frequent flyers at the vet, it sure does feel like family here❤️
