Such amazing staff, so knowledgeable. Our dog had a blood condition recently that really scared us, but the veterinarians here went far out of their way, and even called us at home to check in on her a few times. She's doing much better now thanks to the great staff at Stockton.

Ensuring the comfort and safety of your pet during surgery and throughout the recovery process is a priority.

Based on the available customer reviews, experiences with Stockton Veterinary Hospital appear to be varied. One customer shared a positive experience, highlighting the knowledgeable and caring staff who went "far out of their way" to support their dog with a blood condition, including making follow-up calls at home. This suggests a level of dedication and personalized care that some clients have appreciated.

However, another, more recent review presents a significantly different perspective. This customer, who had been a long-term client since the hospital's early days with Dr. Charlie and Dr. Julia, expressed concerns about a perceived shift in focus from patient care to financial considerations. The review details an experience involving alleged rudeness from the front desk staff, strict enforcement of appointment times, and a negative interaction regarding a pet's diabetes care. The customer felt questioned and unsupported, leading to their decision to seek veterinary care elsewhere. This review raises concerns about customer service and communication practices at the hospital.

Given these contrasting experiences, it is important for potential clients to consider both the positive feedback regarding knowledgeable and caring staff and the negative feedback concerning customer service and communication. It may be beneficial for pet owners to engage directly with Stockton Veterinary Hospital to discuss their specific needs and expectations.

No specific promotional information, such as discounts or special offers, was mentioned in the provided reviews. Local users may wish to inquire directly with the hospital about any current promotions or wellness plans that could help manage the costs of veterinary care.

We started going to Stockton Veterinary Hospital when they first started in Stockton NJ with Dr. Charlie and DrJulia. When they first started they were all about the pets and their parents which is how it’s supposed to be. As of late they have changed tremendously and now they are more concerned with money than anything else. The last few times we were there the front desk staff has been completely rude to us. Today, Monday, March 24, 2025 my cat Cat Blanchette had a follow up appointment for her diabetes and cough. I am about an hour away and called to say I was running late so the front desk said if I am later than 10 minutes I have to reschedule. We walked at 1041 and our appointment was at 1040 so was the person standing next to us. The receptionist Valerie said your late and she had to ask the doctor to see if they could still see us. The person next to us had the same appointment time and never questioned them. She came back to say they can see us so we sat down and preceded to wait while the other person went straight back. We go into the room and the person asked why we were there and I said for her cough and her diabetes. She asked when her cough started and I said she had it the last time but it got worse in a week. She asked when I gave her the insulin last and I said about 8pm last night. She said they don’t check the blood sugar if the insulin hasn’t been given. She proceeded to question me and ask me why I didn’t give her the insulin this morning. I said I live an hour away but she proceeded to question me and ask why I didn’t give her the insulin. I got up and said to her and the front desk that I am taking my cat somewhere else. I have spent in excess of more than $5000 with them and I would wager it’s a lot more than that. She didn’t even try to stop me or talk to me and neither did the front desk. I will never go back there as long as I live on this planet. I will tell everyone of my experience as well. I am not your ordinary person and just because of how I dress, the car I drive and where I live doesn’t mean I’m less of a person. In fact, you don’t know me at all because I have more money and know a lot of influential people locally so I choose to be incognito to test people like you. Guess what? You failed. If I could give you negative stars I would because you don’t deserve any. Never again. Nancy E. Gano

Doctors Charlie is incredible! The other doctors at the hospital are great as well! They all go above and beyond! I moved back to the area and one of the first calls I made was to the Stockton Vet hospital to make sure my pups got the best care 💓

Dr. Sean Day has been treating my Brussels Griffon for arthritis induced neuropathy and drug related ataxia. Dr. Day, Foggy and I have been battling through this for 18 months. Dr. Day has used his extensive knowledge of drug protocol to keep my dear boy comfortable and pain free all this time. Foggy passed peacefully in his sleep, early Monday morning, nestled against me. It was all that we both could hope for. Foggy lived his life, and crossed the Rainbow bridge on his own terms, in his own time. For this, Dr. Day, I am eternally grateful. You are the best. Foggy and I thank you.

Dr. Charlie has been seeing my fox red labrador since I brought her home. Dr. Charlie's knowledge, ability to explain and her amazing bedside manner are just a few of the reasons we love Stockton Vet. We are always treated like family at this top of the line Vet hospital. I recommend anyone I can to come here and assure them they will be in great hands with Dr. Charlie or Dr. Julia.
