Other reviews are spot on. No nonsense and she will make it convenient for you. She came right to my beloved dog's bed and did what she came to do. I didn't need bedside back rubs. I already came to peace with my pup long before doc walked through the door. Worst day of my life but I wouldn't change a thing and would recommend Dr. Stevenson to anyone. My dog crossed over with zero stress and pain. I'll be forever grateful for people like her who do the great work they do.

Welcome to Stevenson Bonnie DVM

Introducing Stevenson Bonnie DVM, a unique provider within the Pet Hospital category, offering mobile veterinary services to the residents of Rochester, MA, and potentially surrounding areas. While the traditional image of a pet hospital involves a physical clinic, Stevenson Bonnie DVM operates as a mobile practice, bringing essential veterinary care directly to the comfort and convenience of your home. This approach, as highlighted by customer reviews, offers a practical, no-fuss, and compassionate solution for pet owners, particularly beneficial in situations where travel to a clinic might be stressful for the animal or inconvenient for the owner.

Given the nature of a mobile veterinary service, the "environment" of Stevenson Bonnie DVM is primarily the familiar surroundings of your own home. This offers several advantages for pets, as they remain in a comfortable and stress-free environment, eliminating the anxiety associated with car rides and unfamiliar clinic settings. Dr. Stevenson brings the necessary medical equipment and supplies directly to your doorstep, ensuring that essential veterinary care can be administered without the need for you and your pet to leave your home. This personalized approach can be particularly beneficial for:

  • Animals with mobility issues: Older pets or those with physical limitations can receive care without the added difficulty of transportation.
  • Anxious or fearful pets: Pets that become stressed in new environments or during travel may be more at ease receiving care at home.
  • Multi-pet households: Caring for multiple pets can be more manageable when the vet comes to you.
  • End-of-life care: As poignantly described in one review, providing peaceful and stress-free euthanasia in the pet's familiar home environment can offer comfort to both the animal and the owner.
  • Routine wellness checks and vaccinations: Bringing the clinic to your home can save time and reduce stress for routine preventative care.

The services offered by Stevenson Bonnie DVM, while delivered in a mobile format, likely encompass a range of essential veterinary care, including:

  • Wellness Exams: Bringing routine check-ups to your home to assess your pet's overall health.

  • Pain Management: Assessing and managing pain in pets through appropriate medications and therapies administered at home.
  • Euthanasia Services: Providing compassionate and peaceful end-of-life care in the pet's home, as highlighted in a heartfelt customer review. This allows for a stress-free and dignified passing in a familiar environment.
  • Consultations and Advice: Offering expert advice and guidance on various aspects of pet health and care within the home setting.

We've sought out Bonnie's services for nearly 2 decades now. She's practical, no-fuss and compassionate to our pets. As a mobile vet, particularly after the pandemic since many practices have shut down or limited services, this has been vital for our pets staying well and healthy.

Dr. Bonnie was one of the most unprofessional vets. She came for a home visit for our yellow lab to be put down. She clearly had zero compassion for my family and said she wished she could also “putt her mother in law down”. If i could give this review a negative, I would give this a -100, I wish I would have done this differently

Dr Bonnie is wonderful she has taken care of our pets for several years, always there as soon as we called, unfortunately we needed to call her to put our cat “Meow” down on Monday. She was professional and caring we couldn’t have asked for a better Vet to help us through this difficult time.

We had Dr. Bonnie come to our house for our dog. She was not professional from the time she walked in the door until she left our house. She made jokes about putting our dog down and comparing to putting down one of her family members. She was disrespectful the whole time. There was even a point where she yelled at me and was personally rude to me when I was talking with my mother. My whole family had already been upset due to putting our dog down and having to deal with someone that’s yelling at you and rude to you while putting your dog down made this whole day 10 times worse for all of us. This was hands down one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had in my life and I would not want anyone else to experience this. I highly recommend staying away from this service.
