I have been seeing Dr. Ed for nearly 25 years. I have followed him from Bridgman to his first solo practice office, to his wonderful current location. He and his staff have always been educated, professional, and the most compassionate individuals a pet parent can hope for in the care of their beloved pets. I briefly left the state to live out west for a year and immediately felt the lack of care and skill of their profession in my new location. Upon my return to Michigan I immediately returned to Dr. Ed and his team . The staff had changed a bit while I was gone but the high standards, education, skill, and respect for you and your pets was still a priority evident in every emergency and simple vet check up visit. I now drive an hour from the Kalamazoo area back to Dr. Ed for his care and professionalism and am grateful my current dogs can experience the love and compassion this select group of individuals has for their patients and their humans. I appreciate them so much! We were set to get my dogs to be established with them in January but we had an emergency trip to the vet hospital and they squeezed us in three days in a row to monitor my dogs!!! Every single person on the staff, there was so great!! By day three, my dog, who’s scared of his shadow was excited to see the nurses and the doctor, and wasn’t scared at all compared to the first day he was terrified but after getting to know the staff, he was started to be happy to be there!!! Me and my boys appreciated all the care that they gave us during a stressful worrying time and put in effort to make sure my dogs are heathy and recovering!! Thank you to all of you!!!

Dr. Mike and all the office staff were so compassionate. They took extra time to help us and our sweet cat and really made us feel cared for like family.

Any vet you go to is going to be pricey, so at least let it be quality care and great staff taking care of your pets. They always give plenty of options and find solutions if cost is an issue. They also have an app that you can message to schedule or check on medication refills or vaccine reminders.
