Back in 2007, not long after we relocated to WNY, we were referred by some friends to Dr. Parisi/St. Francis for our dog, Molly. Dr. Parisi took care of Molly, (a Beagle mix) for over 10 years before she passed in 2018. When Molly started getting older and started to slow down, we adopted Haley (She's a Terrier mix) . Then we got Moonshine (Chihuahua mix) . Along came Evie (Rat Terrier/Poodle mix, (AKA 12 pounds of meanness LOL) who sadly developed kidney failure only 2.5 years after we adopted her. But she was 13 when she came to live with us after she had been on the streets for who knows how long. Last Christmas we adopted Daisy (a highly neurotic Cavie mix) Suffice it to say, Dr. Parisi and his staff have taken care of all our dogs for nearly 20 years. We have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Parisi, Abby, & Sage. If it's not obvious, we highly recommend St. Francis!

The environment at St Francis Animal Hospital, while not explicitly detailed in terms of physical layout, is clearly one that fosters comfort and trust, as evidenced by the deep loyalty expressed by long-term clients. A reputable "Pet Hospital" typically maintains a clean, organized, and welcoming atmosphere to help ease the stress pets and their owners might feel during visits. This would include a reception area for greeting clients, comfortable waiting spaces, and dedicated examination rooms designed for thorough consultations and physical assessments. Beyond these client-facing areas, a full-service animal hospital like St Francis would possess essential medical infrastructure. This usually encompasses an in-house laboratory for quick diagnostic testing, such as blood work, urinalysis, and fecal analysis, enabling rapid and accurate results. Imaging capabilities, like X-rays and potentially ultrasound, are crucial for internal diagnostics and comprehensive health assessments. A sterile surgical suite, equipped with modern anesthesia machines, patient monitoring devices, and dedicated recovery areas, is vital for performing a variety of procedures, from routine elective surgeries to more complex interventions. The fact that multiple pets from the same family, over many years, have consistently received care here suggests an environment that is not only medically proficient but also emotionally supportive and reliable for sustained veterinary relationships.

The services offered by St Francis Animal Hospital, characteristic of a comprehensive "Pet Hospital," would include a wide range of veterinary care designed to cover an animal's entire life span. This encompasses robust preventative care, which is foundational to long-term pet health. Such care includes routine wellness examinations tailored to a pet's age and breed, appropriate vaccination protocols to protect against infectious diseases, and comprehensive parasite prevention and control programs for heartworms, fleas, and ticks. Diagnostic services are critical for early and accurate identification of health issues, encompassing various laboratory tests and advanced imaging. Dental care, covering routine cleanings to extractions and treatment of periodontal disease, is also a vital component for overall pet health. Surgical services would span a wide range, from common elective procedures like spays and neuters to medically necessary soft tissue surgeries. The reviews specifically mention Dr. Parisi and staff caring for dogs of various breeds and ages, including those with age-related slowdowns and serious conditions like kidney failure, which implies they offer comprehensive medical management for chronic illnesses and senior pet care. While not explicitly stated, general veterinary hospitals also typically offer nutritional counseling, behavioral advice, microchipping, and pharmacy services for convenient medication dispensing. The consistent long-term care for multiple family pets further indicates their capability to provide ongoing health management and address a diverse array of medical needs over many years.

They might also promote their expertise in managing chronic conditions and senior pet care, as demonstrated by their care for Molly and Evie. Given the emphasis on "love" for Dr. Parisi, this personal connection would be central to their messaging. While specific offers are not provided, typical promotions might include new client welcome packages, or perhaps loyalty programs that acknowledge their long-term clients. I have been taking my cats to Dr. Parisi for over 20 years and would not consider taking them anywhere else. He is very kind and has such a gentle way about him - he has put all my cats at ease when examining them. When my cat had a seizure, he was very conservative in his approach to the treatment because he said once they are on anti-seizure meds, they will never be able to get off them. Many vets would use the situation as a money grab, but I appreciated the caution. His advice turned out to be correct and my cat lived for many years without having to be on meds. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The office is always clean and they run on time. Based on things I have heard, the pricing is extremely reasonable. I am so happy I found a knowledgeable and caring vet who clearly loves animals and wants the best for our pets!

Dr. Parisi has been treating my two dogs for two years and has done a fantastic job. He caught an early heart murmur in one of them and we were able to get him on early medication to prolong his life. He has a great relationship with the dogs by having a calm vibe and always has treats on hand to make sure the dogs have the best experience possible in what can be a stressful time. The parking isn't the best due to the location, but that's not on the Dr.

Agree with everyone about the staff being friendly and the place is always clean & tidy and all of us including my Chihuahua love her Dr. My Angel suffers from anxiety attacks even in the car so getting her to St. Fransis is a challenge but than the doctor is good with her so makes it worth while . For me everything cost too much today but you got to deal with it and I don’t expect it to ever change back and I want her to stay healthy & happy .
