St Francis Animal Hospital

I have been very disappointed in my last few encounters with this clinic. My cats have been seen and treated for years at St. Francis. It has been very difficult to be scheduled in a timely manner when issues have arrived. I have never encountered this issue in the past. What has happened to this clinic that they do not work hard to accommodate ill or urgent requests? Do they want you to have to drive across town to an urgent care, instead of a close clinic. I understand we all have busy lives and I am sure they are busy as well but come on. Ill animals have to wait 3 days to be seen? So sad.

Dr. Blair is always very thorough in explaining what she sees in my cats. She explains various options regarding treatment. She emails detailed information and often calls about the pet's care. Only possible improvement would be to ensure any new front desk staff are both well trained and are naturally outwardly friendly and eager to engage with clients.

Very friendly staff. Very helpful and caring. Was very patient with our new puppy and was very affectionate. First time at the vet and i feel very comfortable with my pick and im very appreciative to the staff.

Excellent services, top notch staff. We were warmly greeted with friendly smiles in a clean environment. They readily accommodated to our needs when our new puppy developed an issue. Dr Allison Gedstad was terrific as was her vet tech Maggie. They gently managed our Daisy Mae, a 12 week old English Springer Spaniel; she was putty in their hands. Patient and professional in their assessment and interactions. Everything was explained in plain language and questions were encouraged. We left knowing exactly what was expected of us. A#1 staff, services and facilities.

St Francis Animal Hospital has been the best part of living in St Paul for a decade. Their competence gave me additional years of life with my best friend and baby. Their integrity made it possible for me to afford her care. For all the pills she had to take every day, I really think that even she understood how much of a difference they all made. Thank you for your dependability through uncertain and scary times.

Everyone here cares so much! They always make even my most anxious pup feel safe and loved. We get annual check ups, and our dog recently had dental surgery. Everything always runs smoothly and thoughtfully. Thank you!!

They took full care of my guinea pigs like they were their own ones. I felt really safe and cared for. Everything went very smoothly and on time! I felt like they did a very thorough check up and it made me feel really good about my piggies. I'm so happy I found this place and I will definitely keep going back there if needed!
