This hospital is an absolute joke! The "assistant " the Dr has working with her knows NOTHING about veterinary medicine and your animals are in their care! A person is monitoring your pets under anesthesia with no experience. Very scary. The Dr is a complete mess and shakes too much. I would run, not walk far away from this place! It just needs shut down and someone who knows what they are doing run it. I would never trust them to see my pets!

Welcome to Spring Mills Veterinary Hospital

Welcome to an introduction of Spring Mills Veterinary Hospital, located at 5078 Williamsport Pike suite n, Martinsburg, WV 25404, USA. Operating under the platform category of "Pet Hospital," Spring Mills Veterinary Hospital has received concerning feedback from recent customers. The available reviews raise significant issues regarding the perceived lack of experience of the staff, potential safety practices, and the duration of appointments. This introduction aims to objectively present these customer experiences to provide potential local users with a clear understanding of the concerns raised.

As a Pet Hospital, Spring Mills Veterinary Hospital would typically be expected to provide a range of veterinary services, including preventative care, diagnostics, and treatment of illnesses and injuries. However, the customer reviews focus more on the perceived quality and safety of the care provided rather than the types of services offered. These reviews suggest potential shortcomings in the execution of these services.

One review describes the hospital as "an absolute joke!" and expresses serious concerns about the qualifications of the staff. The reviewer claims that the "assistant" working with the doctor "knows NOTHING about veterinary medicine" and that animals under anesthesia are being monitored by a person with "no experience," labeling this as "very scary." Furthermore, this reviewer characterizes the doctor as a "complete mess" who "shakes too much," strongly advising others to "run, not walk far away from this place!" The review concludes with a call for the hospital to be shut down and replaced by someone more competent, stating, "I would never trust them to see my pets!" This feedback raises significant red flags about the perceived competence and safety standards at Spring Mills Veterinary Hospital.

Another review echoes concerns about the practice, labeling it an "Unsafe practice." This reviewer also mentions a "Skeleton crew" and states that "2 hours per appointment has been the usual" over the three years they had been visiting. They note that the situation "has not improved" and declare, "Never going back." This feedback points to issues with staffing levels, potentially leading to long wait times and raising further questions about the overall efficiency and quality of care.

Given the nature of the provided reviews, there is no positive feedback regarding the environment, specific services, or features of Spring Mills Veterinary Hospital. The overwhelming sentiment is one of concern about the safety and quality of care. Therefore, it is challenging to describe the hospital's environment or highlight positive features based solely on this information.

Based on the category "Pet Hospital," Spring Mills Veterinary Hospital would likely aim to offer services such as:

  • Wellness exams and vaccinations.
  • Diagnosis and treatment of illnesses.
  • Surgical procedures.
  • Dental care.
  • Anesthesia and monitoring.

However, the negative reviews cast doubt on the quality and safety with which these services are reportedly delivered.

In terms of features, based on the negative reviews, potential issues might include:

  • Inexperienced or unqualified staff.
  • Potentially unsafe monitoring of anesthetized animals.
  • A doctor whose abilities are questioned.
  • Understaffing leading to long appointment times.

It is important to note that these are based on negative customer experiences.

Due to the entirely negative nature of the provided feedback, it is not possible to identify any positive promotional aspects. Any attempt to create promotional information would be misleading given the strong concerns raised by these reviewers.

For local users in Singapore, while Spring Mills Veterinary Hospital is located in the USA, the issues raised in these reviews—concerns about staff competence, safety practices, and long waiting times—are important to consider when choosing a pet hospital anywhere. When seeking veterinary care in Singapore, you would want to prioritize clinics known for their qualified and experienced staff, safe medical practices, and efficient service. Reading reviews and seeking recommendations from other pet owners can help you find a reputable and trustworthy pet hospital in your area.

They're okay. Not too good at responding to voicemail though. I left a few messages about my pet needing their flea and tick medicine and the staff hasn't gotten back to me. They're closed on Wednesday, I don't understand that. The doctors are kind there though and take the time to explain what they're going to do with your pet. It is very clean and organized in the lobby as well as exam rooms.

Dr. Smith is absolutely amazing! She has taken care of both of our Olde English Bull dogs since they were puppies. She plays with them and even gets on their level to see them. Our girls are excited to go the vet and see all of their favorite people. Recently our oldest Jolene was vomiting and they got her in same day, examined her, and took X-rays. Dr. Smith caught on quickly something didn’t look right. On a Friday of a holiday weekend Dr. Smith preformed life saving surgery on our girl and saved her life! Jolene had a bunch of rope from a dog toy she had swallowed that was in her belly and going into her intestines that they pulled out. Without a doubt if it had not been for Dr. Smith and her wonderful techs and staff Jolene would not be here with us to celebrate the new year and we are forever grateful to her and her team!
