My 15-year-old chihuahua injured his back after walking off the bed. After two weeks on steroids and pain meds from our regular vet, there was little improvement—he was still barely mobile and not himself from the medications. Thankfully, we found Dr. Block—he was able to come to our home the next day. He performed an adjustment and started cold laser therapy, and we saw immediate improvement that continued each day. Highly recommend Dr. Block and will definitely turn to him again for any future back or mobility issues.

Welcome to Southern Ca Equine-Canine Chiropractic: Block Rod DC

Welcome to an innovative approach to animal wellness within our Pet Hospital platform: Southern Ca Equine-Canine Chiropractic, led by Block Rod DC. We understand that the health and well-being of your beloved animals extend beyond traditional veterinary medicine. That's why we are pleased to introduce the specialized services of Southern Ca Equine-Canine Chiropractic, focusing on the musculoskeletal health and nervous system function of your equine and canine companions right here in Singapore. Block Rod DC brings a wealth of expertise in animal chiropractic, offering a holistic approach to enhancing your animals' comfort, mobility, and overall quality of life.

While our platform is categorized as a Pet Hospital, we recognize the value of complementary therapies in supporting the overall health of animals. Southern Ca Equine-Canine Chiropractic operates within this framework, providing a unique service aimed at addressing biomechanical imbalances that can affect your animals' performance, comfort, and behavior. Chiropractic care focuses on the intricate relationship between the spine, nervous system, and overall body function. By addressing misalignments or restrictions in the spine and joints, chiropractic adjustments can help to restore proper nerve function, reduce pain, and improve movement.

The environment in which Block Rod DC provides care is designed to be calm and reassuring for your animals. Recognizing that both horses and dogs have distinct needs, the approach is tailored to each species. For equine chiropractic, sessions may take place in a spacious and safe area suitable for large animals, ensuring their comfort and allowing for movement assessment. For canine chiropractic, a comfortable and secure space within our facilities is utilized, where your dog can relax and receive focused attention. The emphasis is always on creating a low-stress environment that promotes a positive experience for your animal.

The core service offered by Southern Ca Equine-Canine Chiropractic is chiropractic adjustments. These are gentle, specific manual techniques applied to restore proper motion and alignment to the joints, particularly those of the spine. For horses, chiropractic care can be beneficial for improving athletic performance, addressing gait abnormalities, managing back or neck pain, and supporting recovery from injury. For dogs, chiropractic can help with issues such as stiffness, lameness, post-surgical recovery, age-related mobility problems, and even certain behavioral issues that may be linked to discomfort. Block Rod DC utilizes a thorough evaluation process, including gait analysis, palpation, and assessment of posture and movement, to identify areas of dysfunction and develop a tailored treatment plan for each animal.

A key feature of animal chiropractic is its holistic nature. Rather than solely focusing on symptoms, it aims to address the underlying biomechanical issues that may be contributing to those symptoms. This approach can lead to improved overall function, enhanced natural healing abilities, and a greater sense of well-being for your animal. Block Rod DC's expertise encompasses a deep understanding of animal anatomy and biomechanics, ensuring that adjustments are performed safely and effectively.

Another significant feature is the collaborative approach. Block Rod DC may work in conjunction with your regular veterinarian to provide a comprehensive wellness plan for your animal. Chiropractic care is often used as a complementary therapy alongside traditional veterinary treatments to optimize outcomes and support the animal's recovery and long-term health.

Understanding the importance of education, Block Rod DC often provides owners with insights into their animal's condition and offers guidance on exercises and management strategies to support the benefits of chiropractic adjustments. This empowers owners to actively participate in their animal's wellness journey.

As a special introduction to this valuable service within our Pet Hospital platform, Southern Ca Equine-Canine Chiropractic is offering a complimentary initial consultation for new equine and canine patients. This provides an opportunity to discuss your animal's specific needs and determine if chiropractic care may be beneficial. Following the consultation, a tailored treatment plan will be recommended. Additionally, for a limited time, new clients who book a series of three chiropractic sessions will receive a discount on the total package. This is our way of encouraging you to experience the positive impact that chiropractic care can have on your animal's health and vitality.

We believe that integrating services like animal chiropractic, through Southern Ca Equine-Canine Chiropractic: Block Rod DC, into our Pet Hospital platform reflects our commitment to providing comprehensive care that addresses the diverse needs of your animal companions in Singapore. We invite you to explore this holistic approach to wellness and discover how it can contribute to your horse's performance and your dog's comfort and mobility. Contact us today to learn more about Southern Ca Equine-Canine Chiropractic and to schedule your complimentary initial consultation. Let us work together to enhance the well-being of your beloved animals.

Please note that while chiropractic care can offer significant benefits, it is not a substitute for traditional veterinary medical care. Our team will always ensure that your animal's health concerns are appropriately addressed, and we will advise on the most suitable course of action, which may include a combination of veterinary and chiropractic care.

My Shihtzu/terrier mix is a big jumper and still very active at 12 years old. She doesn’t know her limitations and has occasionally needed Dr Block’s care. Each and every time she is good as new after laser therapy and adjustments. I hate to see my baby in any discomfort or limping around, so glad there is help with Dr. Block!

Dr. Rod Block was a godsend for my 14 year old lab. He woke up one day dragging his legs and we thought that was the end. A good friend recommended I try a chiropractor. Rod sensed the urgency and visited us the next day. Two sessions later he was walking again without pain. Rod truly gave an extra year with our boy. I’m forever grateful. Thank you Rod!

Our 8 yo mini schnauzer suddenly developed hip problem: hesitate to walk upstairs and no more jumping. Went to the vet and they just suggested to watch out for arthritis, and recommended to see pet chiropractor, so I did and found Dr Block offering his services near by (I live in Irvine). So I contacted him immediately and he picked up the call, so we set up an appointment for the next day. Dr. Block showed up 20mins earlier than expected, he found out what’s wrong with our pup immediately (muscle strain) and the appt took less than 10 mins including the cold laser light treatment. He also showed us how to relax the muscle, and suggested to see him again in 3 months for follow up and regular adjustment. Only 2 hours later, our pup jumped in the car seat for the first time in a week, we are so impressed! Dr Block obviously is great at what he does! We will definitely continue to consult him in the future. Thanks!

Dr. Block is such a wonderful doctor and beautiful soul. Highly recommend. My 17 year old yorkie was helped by him multiple times, from hip issues, and vestibular spinal injury. In the video I’ve posted, showed that she kept circling for a whole week. Hard for her to lay down and sleep, weakness with disorientation. After 1 visit adjustment, she started walking straight. Today she had her second adjustment, 4 days from her first, and she’s jumping and pawing for more snacks. She’s not on any medications, and I don’t intend to put her on any so she won’t damage her organs. But I highly recommend if you’re looking for holistic treatments for your dog, give Dr. Block a call.
