They are really bad about answering the phone (very busy), but if you can get a hold of them? It’s worth it. This is BY FAR the best experience I’ve ever had getting a cat spayed. I have six cats (all fixed) and I’ve never seen such a clean and neat incision. My cat is acting like nothing happened. This is my first time going to a spay and neuter clinic and I regret not using them in the past. I’m really impressed. Hopefully I don’t end up with more cats, but if I do? I’ll be back. I know my cat will be safe with them.

  • Clean and Functional Pre-Surgical Preparation Area: A dedicated space where pets are prepared for surgery, including pre-anesthetic checks and administration of initial medications.
  • Dedicated Surgical Suites: Operating rooms specifically equipped for spay and neuter procedures, adhering to strict sterilization protocols to ensure a safe surgical environment.

The focus is on creating a safe, clean, and efficient environment that allows for a high volume of surgeries while upholding quality standards.

The core services offered by Southern Alliance Spay Neuter Clinic are primarily centered around spay (ovariohysterectomy for females) and neuter (orchiectomy for males) surgeries for cats and dogs. These services typically include:

  • Spay Surgery (Female): A surgical procedure to remove the ovaries and uterus, preventing pregnancy and eliminating heat cycles.
  • Neuter Surgery (Male): A surgical procedure to remove the testicles, preventing unwanted breeding and reducing certain hormone-related behaviors.
  • Pre-Surgical Examination: A basic health check performed by a veterinarian to ensure the animal is healthy enough to undergo anesthesia and surgery.
  • Anesthesia and Monitoring: Safe and effective anesthesia administered and closely monitored by trained veterinary technicians throughout the surgical procedure and recovery period.
  • Pain Management: Administration of pain relief medication during and after surgery to ensure the comfort of the animal.
  • Post-Operative Care Instructions: Detailed guidelines provided to pet owners on how to care for their pet at home following surgery to ensure proper healing.
  • Optional Services (potentially): Some clinics may offer additional low-cost services at the time of surgery, such as microchipping or basic vaccinations, to further benefit the pet's health and well-being.

We had a male and female cat fixed at this clinic. Wonderful price and people - follow their instructions and it all goes great. There needs to more places like this in Tn. We drove an hour . Both of these young cats came to us as unwanted (drop offs). We didn't want to them to become part of the problem! Please use these Clinics!!!!!! We have a regular Vet, but their spay neuter price is just more then we could afford. They service Dogs and Cats both - give them a call.
