South Valley Animal Hospital

This animal hospital has treated all 3 of my dogs with great care. I’ve been in this neighborhood the past 10 years and this hospital will always be my first choice. They always make sure to ask me every visit if I have any concerns, even if it’s just a nail trim visit!! It goes to show that they actually care about my pet’s well being. If you’re new to the neighborhood, this is an extremely reliable choice that I will always recommend to my neighbors. P.S they have a rewards program!!

Very friendly and welcoming staff, Dr Dina is super amazing, and they are even open on Sundays. After our first visit, for a minor emergency with no appointment on a Sunday, we were so happy we decided this is where we are going to bring all 4 of our dogs from now on. Great job to everyone who works there. Thank you!

Do you have the patience of a saint? Do you like setting an appointment and not being seen for over an hour? If so, Dr. Freaking is the guy for you! I called earlier this week to set an appointment for my three dogs. I was told they could accommodate them at the same time, which was great. Appointment set for 2:00. I arrive at 1:50 or so and not a single other customer was in the lobby. I do not get brought back to a room until 2:25 approximately and the tech that brought me back had all three vitals done in less than ten minutes. I was told the doctor would be “right in.” … at 2:57 I call the front desk (did not want to get all three dogs confused why they left) to ask when the doctor would be coming in. They said they would check and get someone to come in. At 3:06 finally the doctor and the tech came back in. He asked how I was doing and I said annoyed. Informed him my appointment was at 2pm and I’m just now seeing him. He gave some excuse that three dogs is a lot for an appointment (even though that’s how they set the appointment) and it takes a long time to can’t vaccine doses right after getting vitals. Turns out, he didn’t even have all the vaccines prepared properly and had to go back to get one that was missed. The ONLY doctor I have had a good experience with over the years is Dr Dina. She is incredible, knowledgeable, and compassionate. Dr. Frerking is one of several bad experiences I’ve had here, and this was not even the first with him. What should have been simple vaccines that any doctor could do turned into a nightmare.

We took our Rescue Golden Retriever to the South Valley Animal Hospital upon recommendation and they were to say the least, amazing!! All the staff were super caring and Dr Dina has a clear love for animals and really knows her stuff. They gave us honest answers and solutions which we appreciated. We'll be making these guys our regular go to for sure. Definitely 5 stars from us

We are so thankful for South Valley Animal Hospital for taking care of our two babies this month! All their veterinarians, VAs and staffs are the best. They are quick to act and do so with expertise, TLC & patience! Special shout out to Dr. Dina for taking on Piper's emergency. Dr. Dina sprung into action and advised us on what Piper's condition, her recommendations and pricing. She was always available by phone if we had further questions and together we were able decide on proper care for Piper. Dr. Dina also gave us after care instructions and suggestions.
