I was referred to this new clinic by my existing vet who could not take an emergency appointment for my rabbit. I was really impressed by this facility and the staff. Emergency rabbit care pretty much everywhere is somewhat expensive. I'd say the same applied to this visit, but the way the staff was so patient, caring, and Dr. Rob Coke was extremely knowledgable on rabbits and what is needed for them emergency wise-- it was well worth it and I never felt "ripped off" but rather that everything STA&EH did was for the benefit of my rabbit. They are very honest and completely up front with pet owners, something that is becoming very elusive as private equity continues to oversee vet offices. Visiting South Texas Avian and Exotic is very worth it. I'd recommend that rabbit owners always have two vets available, especially one that can take emergencies, schedule an appointment and make your rabbit an existing patient here. I very much appreciate all of the work that goes on here. I had the unfortunate timing of having to visit 3 times in about a week but was met with a friendly atmosphere each time. I also very much appreciate the check up actually happening in the room as opposed to my rats being taken back to where I can't see and then brought back. It's a nice, reassuring touch.

Took my elderly Chihuahua who had an existing heart conditionto to Dr. Coke. It was unfortunate that there was nothing we could do but Dr.Coke did an amazing job making sure she had a good couple of last days. He was very informative and thorough.

Dr. Coke saw our silkie who was being bullied by our bigger roosters. We weren't sure if he was going to make it. With Dr cokes expertise our boy is doing amazing!

Wonderful clinic! The Dr is very knowledgeable, his wife is wonderful unfortunately couldn't find the front door. Photo is misleading.

Went to Dr. Coke to have a checkup for my hedgehog Gretal; because I noticed cataract issues. Appointment went smoothly. Clinic was very nice and clean, staff seemed well organized. Dr Coke was very informative and confirmed my suspicion of blindness with Gretal. Will be back with my Avians next visit.
