I have been taking my dog to South Street Veterinary Services for years! The staff is well trained and trustworthy. The office is conveniently located near the town of Lenox, and not too far from central Pittsfield. Once my dog was poisoned by wearing an anti-tick necklace. After a few hours of wearing it, my dog could not walk! Her nervous system had been affected. We called the emergency veterinarian at South Street Veterinarian Services in the middle of the night, and then we rushed our doggie to the emergency room at South Street at 2am. Four veterinarians came to work on my dog. They gave her charcoal to absorb the poison, and they shampoos her. She survived, and she is as healthy as ever. We had dog insurance which I highly recommend to help pay for such costs. Also, I recommend Bravecto, a pill that dogs can take twice a year to keep ticks away. Don’t use those poisonous necklaces! Also, buy dog products, especially medicines from an authorized dealer. I recommend staying away from generic products. The veterinarians at South Street Veterinary services are professionals, and they care about their pet patients.🌈😊🙏
