I want to share my positive experience at South Shore Animal Hospital. Veterinarian Brian Dawson was excellent with my dog and conducted a very thorough examination. I also take my dog there for dental cleaning. I would highly recommend this place to anyone with a pet; they are very gentle and kind.

The staff is always very friendly, and they do so well with our dog. He actually likes going there, in fact. Dr. Dawson is awesome! He and the techs are always super informative and thorough and answer all of our questions. We will always go to South Shore Animal Hospital for our pets.

We had a great experience here! The doctor was very thorough and took great care of my dog. They even followed up with me after a few days to see how she was doing which I really appreciated!

Dr. Dawson and the entire staff at South Shore are amazing. Every time we interact with them they are always caring and go the extra mile to take care of our pets. I am so grateful to have been seeing them for the past couple years.

My sweetheart Molly was diagnosed with a sebaceous cyst and sent home with operating details and as we felt none emergency we waited till the following week. The Dr. even detailed it as a like an orange with all the fibers and everything needing to be removed! A sebaceous cyst is not life threatening but it was growing at a rapid pace so we called to get it removed and that took another week to get her in on a surgery day! When he operated it turned out to be cancer growing aggressively and had she been taken in immediately he may have gotten it all out! Our precious girl lost her life because of his misdiagnosed sebaceous cyst! Her tumors grew at an alarming rate and we lost our precious girl. The staff was very kind to us but because of this misdiagnosis she may have been saved! We are without our best friend and my sleeping cuddles and I cry every night to be without her! Never assume a tumor or cyst is not cancerous ! We’ve learned the hard way!
