South Ocala Animal Clinic

We love this vet! All of the doctors and staff here are really nice and you can tell they truly love animals. We took our puppy here when his arm randomly got really swollen and we couldn’t figure out what was wrong. The vet was thorough and narrowed down a couple of things that could have caused the swelling. He administered an allergy shot and anti swelling/pain medicine on site. Since we couldn’t be sure if it was a sprain or an allergic reaction, he prescribed three different medications to cover all angles. I gave him his meds and reduced his physical activity as prescribed, and he healed right up by the time of his file up! The vet was so relieved and even told me that he lost sleep the night we brought him in because of how swollen our dog’s leg had gotten. We’re so glad he fixed the issue. The pricing is also very reasonable compared to nearby clinics, and they give you a price quote that you need to approve before starting any treatments, which I really appreciate. This is now our primary vet. I’m really happy we found South Ocala Animal Clinic!!

After making the very difficult decision not to let our beloved dog live in pain, we went to South Ocala Animal Hospital. Her quality of life was not even close to what she enjoyed in the past. Our hearts were breaking and the vet and staff were amazing, compassionate, caring and truly understood what we were going through. These people care and we highly recommend South Ocala Animal Hospital.

PLEASE READ IF YOU ARE CHOOSING A VET! We took our beautiful baby LadyBird in today to have her euthanized after 13 years of love. I walked in bawling and the receptionist was sweet as she usually is. The normal, vet and sergon were out because it is right before Christmas. The Dr. who was filling in respected our wishes and didn't take her from us at any point. He was so kind and loving toward us and our baby. The nurses are always the same which I love. They loved on her and us. Thank you all so much for making a heartbreaking situation the best that it could be. I will never take my pets to any other place.

After almost 15 years with this clinic, we now have to find a new one. It’s now corporate owned & operated just like one. Inept, incompetent staff. They are rude and completely heartless. Gone are the days when Dr. Kevin ran the clinic. He’s compassionate, thoughtful & thorough. It’s an absolute travesty what has happened to the business he & his wife built over many years. The new corporate owners have ruined the place. Our pets are no longer safe there.

We took our senior doxie here to establish care. Everyone from front desk to tech and vet was very caring and respectful to both family and my fur baby. He has several health issues and they knew right away how to care for him. Thank you to SOAC for a positive experience.
