Soft Paws Animal Urgent Care and Emergency Clinic

I visited this location for a standard dog cough that persisted every 1-2 hours. Dr. Jackson prescribed medication and also took X-rays that revealed a slightly enlarged heart which he advised following up on if the cough persisted after a week. 24 hours later, the cough escalated to a critical level resulting in a visit to the emergency room. Because of Dr. Jackson's work and professional instinct, my dog was able to receive immediate care and the X-rays proved to be very helpful. Simply put, I do not know if my dog would be here today if Dr. Jackson had not spotted this abnormality in the prior day. Hopefully, that's enough to convince you that Dr. Jackson knows what he is doing.

If I could give them more than 5 stars, I most definitely would. The atmosphere, and entire building is spotless. Their positive attentiveness to giving our pets the best and most reasonable help possible is unmatched. They have helped my cat Olly through multiple sicknesses and the pricing is reasonable! My cats are never anxious when coming for a doctors visit. In fact, I heard recently that my cat Olly is quite the superstar here. He gets so much love and attention, which if you knew him, you'd understand why he loves this place so much, haha. But seriously, BIG HUGE thank you to the team over at Soft Paws Animal Clinic. We found our pets forever doctor, and couldn't be happier with everything they provide.

Dr. Jackson, Taylor and his awesome staff took such good care of our cat Covi. They were able to keep our costs down And get Covi back in shape in a short period of time. They are so attentive, caring, and took the time to call us with updates...we couldn't ask for better care. They feel like family.

By far the best Vet experience I have ever had with my two rescued babies!! The staff was very friendly and Dr. Jackson was so personable and very knowledgeable and attentive! I appreciate Soft Paws and their service!

TLDR; Doctor Jackson and his staff are hands down the best and most caring vet/veterinary assistances in Atlanta. For the first part of his life, our cat Oliver went to a different vet in the midtown area for general checkups, but when Oliver’s health began to take a nose dive due to his hidden neurological condition, it was clear they did not care. We ended up driving to Soft Paws since it was the closest to our home, and even though it is listed as by appointment only, they instantly let us in and saw us immediately. Doctor Jackson worked with us for the next couple months in trying to navigate our cat’s hidden illness and recommended us to a specialist. The Soft Paws team also always answered my thousands of phone calls of questions and updates on his health with love and respect. Unfortunately, Oliver’s neurological condition was one that couldn’t be fixed, and we decided a death with dignity was better than letting him suffer or be confused on why his legs were no longer working. The night we decided to put Oliver down was a difficult one, but the entire team at Soft Paws was nothing but comforting and understanding of our pain. They walked us through every step and ensured that Oliver had the best and most comfortable experience ever. Although we do not have pets now and we probably will not be ready for a while, Doctor Jackson will forever be our family’s veterinarian for as long as he is practicing. I cannot express enough how grateful we are to have found him during this difficult time and how grateful we are for him making a traumatic experience easier for all parties involved.
