Welcome to SNAP: Spay-Neuter Action Project of San Diego

SNAP (Spay-Neuter Action Project) of San Diego is a vital community-based veterinary care establishment dedicated to promoting animal welfare through low-cost spay and neuter services. As a trusted point of interest for pet owners in the United States, SNAP has been serving the local community with compassion and expertise since its inception. The clinic focuses on providing essential veterinary care to dogs and cats, with an emphasis on preventing overpopulation by offering affordable spaying and neutering procedures.

SNAP is located at 9815 Carroll Canyon Rd # 204, San Diego, CA 92131, USA, and operates seven days a week from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This makes it easily accessible for pet owners who need convenient veterinary care without the high costs typically associated with such services. The clinic is staffed by experienced veterinarians and friendly support staff who are committed to ensuring that every pet receives the highest standard of care.

One of the standout features of SNAP is its commitment to affordability. Many pet owners struggle with the rising cost of veterinary care, which can be a barrier to getting essential services like spaying and neutering. SNAP addresses this issue by offering low-cost procedures, making it easier for pet owners to take responsibility for their pets' health. For example, one customer shared their positive experience after paying only $120 for a rabbit spay, compared to the $450 fee they were quoted at another veterinary clinic.

SNAP also emphasizes education and community outreach. The clinic works closely with local shelters, rescues, and pet owners to promote responsible pet ownership and the importance of spaying and neutering. By reducing the number of unwanted animals through these efforts, SNAP plays a critical role in improving the lives of both pets and people in San Diego.

In addition to spay and neuter services, SNAP provides a range of other essential veterinary care, including:

  • Wellness exams
  • Dental cleanings
  • Vaccinations
  • Disease testing

SNAP's welcoming environment and compassionate approach make it a favorite among pet owners in the area. The clinic is designed to be comfortable for both pets and their human companions, with a focus on minimizing stress during visits. Whether you're bringing your dog or cat in for routine care or a surgical procedure, you can rest assured that SNAP will provide personalized attention and quality care.

Customers have shared their glowing reviews of SNAP, highlighting the clinic's affordability, high-quality care, and compassionate staff. One customer expressed deep gratitude for SNAP's important work, noting how impressed they were with the entire process from booking to surgery. Another customer praised SNAP for offering affordable spay services, which made it possible for them to care for their rabbit without financial strain.

For pet owners in San Diego looking for reliable and affordable veterinary care, SNAP: Spay-Neuter Action Project of San Diego is a top choice. With its mission-driven approach, experienced staff, and commitment to reducing pet overpopulation, SNAP continues to make a significant impact in the community. I got my 6 month old rabbit spayed almost a week ago and I am so grateful to SNAP that there were no complications with the surgery at all. I would like to thank SNAP for offering these services at a low cost because at the vet I went to, they wanted to charge me 450$ for a spay it was ridiculous. I paid 120$ with SNAP and it helped me and my rabbit out so much. Thank you SNAP! After the surgery, I did have to encourage my rabbit to eat with Sherwood emergency kit which is normal. Rabbit owners, do your research to prepare everything for your rabbit’s spay. I prepared before the surgery and it was smooth sailing. Little one is thriving!

Had a great experience here in 2022 summer. I adopted a rabbit that someone wanted to abandon, and instead I got her spayed and took care of her with the help of Dr. Paris at Snap. She took care of my Coco Chanel when we were told she was a boy at first lol. That was an interesting first appointment we had, but im lucky to have the opportunity to care for my pet with Snaps help. Im a college student and by no means wealthy. This was a great experience and we are so blessed. Thank you Dr. Paris!

These guys are great, we dropped it off on time and when we picked up our cats they gave us instructions on what to do from there on. I even received a text checking up on the cats after the procedure, 10/10 experience. Thank you! They’re all good now no complications whatsoever.

My two girls were in and out within a matter of hours after getting fixed. The staff takes good care of your fur babies and makes sure you have the information you need to properly care for your fur babies after you pick them up and take them home.
