Small Door Veterinary - Williamsburg

I absolutely love Small Door Veterinarians! I started with them when I first got my kitten, who is now a year and a half old. We began at the Upper West Side location, and after I moved, we became members at the Williamsburg location. The treatment has been consistently exceptional every time, no matter which location we’ve visited. The ease of their app is a game changer—it keeps all of my cat’s records in one place, so whenever I have a question, I can pull everything up easily. Their communication is also top-notch; they’re incredibly responsive on the administrative side and always happy to help. The in-house staff is always friendly and feels like a part of a pet-loving community. I love getting to chat with them about their own fur babies while I wait for my appointment. The doctors are extremely knowledgeable and attentive. My cat feels genuinely cared for, and I love the warm, welcoming environment—and the great treats, both for her and me! Their reasonably priced bundle packages take care of all her annual needs, making pet care stress-free. Overall, the end-to-end experience is incredible. Small Door has been a huge help in caring for my pet, and I highly recommend them!

Great staff and always available. When you have a problem with your pet you don’t have to wait weeks or months like many other vets in NYC! With all the locations and doctors you can get in same day or next day. They’re nice people and explain things well. Definitely not cheap… but most vets in NYC are not. I appreciate the service and care from Small Door Williamsburg.

Couldn’t be happier with Small Door Williamsburg. I assumed they were like a soulless urgent care but I was completely wrong. The service is outstanding, the staff go above and beyond, the pricing is transparent and very reasonable! Shout out to Dr Thitipraserth, Star, Micaela and Marisol! My dog even loves this place and is excited for vet visits!

My cat Elvis has anxiety issues and a tough history with his last vet visit, which left him quite traumatized. I’ve always disliked when vets are too harsh or impersonal with pets, so I decided to try Small Door Veterinary because of their warm and welcoming environment. While our first visit was still filled with anxiety for Elvis, their team handled him with care and provided just the right amount of prescribed medication to help him feel more at ease. After his housemate passed away, we became very concerned about his health. We decided to run all the necessary tests—a process we had previously done in LA, where it cost us a significant amount of money. I was pleasantly surprised to find that Small Door’s pricing was actually half of what I expected. What impressed me the most was how they communicated. They sent the test results and the doctor’s opinions in a well-organized PDF summary. On top of that, they handled the insurance claims on our behalf—a task that’s typically a lot of work, especially when you travel often with your pet. I recently signed up for their annual membership during a Black Friday promotion and will see how it goes moving forward. So far, I’m really impressed with the thoughtful care and convenience they provide.

Amazing experience. The team was understanding, they listened and answered all our questions in a caring manner and explained everything clearly. My boy is an anxious pup so the doctor got down on the floor to do the exam, they never pushed him to a place where he was uncomfortable. Pricing was fair and transparent. As far as location, parking was pretty easy to find on a busy afternoon too.
