Skippack Animal Hospital

Always a good experience at Skippack Animal Hospital. The vets and techs are wonderful to work with and my dog is calm and well taken care of during her visit. She loves everyone there. Highly recommend this practice - we travel 30 minutes passing by other vets just to come here.

We have been going to Skippack Animal Hospital for many years. The staff is the best and the care our dogs receive is top notch. Dr's Martell and Kelly treat our pets like their own. The office manager, Ruth, and Emily at the front desk always go above and beyond. These are the reasons we keep coming back. Kudos to them all!

Where do I start. I changed vets to Skippack I have dogs that will always be on meds multiple times a day and managed well. I made appointments told that they were physicals, senior panels with vaccines and a couple of months later I get emails stating my dogs are due for the same vaccines or need physicals. Telling me they weren’t in to see the vet. So you can imagine how frustrating and untrusting I now am because I don’t want dogs receiving the same vaccines again. Here’s what was communicated: I just received a call from vet because the pharmacy contacted vet for refills on medication that my dogs can’t live without. The vets representative says that my dogs weren’t seen since 2022. I’m so very confused, and that they will not refill meds unless I pay to have a sick visit or physical done and that my dogs weren’t in for a sick visit. My dogs are stable I don’t need to bring them there is nothing new going on. The vet checked them 2024 Then the representative continues to tell me both dogs were not in. (Both had physicals 2024 and updated vaccines.) Bottom line, she said oh they were in but didn’t see vet. My response was they did i personally spoke to vet on both dogs. She continues to say well it’s not in the chart and that they saw a technician for physical and vaccines and they need to see vet…. What a crap show! I have multiple vet bills proving I was there and paid. Meanwhile, my dog’s medicine won’t get refilled unless I bring dogs back in and pay again. This is not ethical!

We have used them for several years now and are very happy. The follow up call a few days after an appointment to check in on your pet shows how much they value every one of their patients.

Excellent experience; super supportive, friendly and knowledgeable staff. I know my Luna's health is in good hands at Skippack Vet. Hoping to get her enrolled in doggy daycare soon!
