Took my Candi kitty here after needing testing that couldn't be done where we were currently going. As soon as the Doc walked in , I knew we were in the right place. So thorough and kind! This is our new Vet. Definitely recommend!

You will never find more competent or compassionate care for your fur babies! The staff is everything you never knew you needed. We have used them for many years and I always recommend. From puppy/kitten stage through end of life care I couldn’t ask for better care. You get the small town vibe even in though you are in this gigantic city. They treat you like family and will not rob your wallet while doing it. The Lantrips LOVE you!

I took my 4 month old fur baby there for her 1st app. She was treated with so much kindness. With all the touching and injections. She did make a peep. We have our new vet. .

Animal Care Center is a great place to take our pets! We've been using ACC for many years! We are always greeted with a smile, get the best care for our pets and the hospital always smells good!

I HOPE THIS REVIEW REACHES THE ACTUAL OWNER!!!! First, let me start off by saying I've been bringing my dogs to this office for years and the staff has always been excellent. However, I had not been here in a year or so. I came in yesterday with a litter of six Golden Retriever pups to get their health certificates, which means a complete physical examination, shots, and worm medicine. Everyone was smiling with amazing customer service, as always. That is until I met the vet, Gary Johnson. This is the first time my family has ever seen Dr. Johnson, an old man which appeared to be in his early 80's. The moment he walked into the examination room the extreme rudeness began. It was almost two hours straight of me and my family trying to be friendly and smiling, thinking maybe he would warm up a little. Boy was I wrong.... At one point, as he was administering a vaccine injection I asked him if the pups will feel a little bad for a day kind of like a kid when they receive a vaccine. He looked right at my 8 year old and said "maybe they'll just DIE"!!! I still tried to keep being friendly with him but it was to no avail. He kept making comments about the genetic issues Goldens have and kept treating us very poorly for having a litter of them. Once we were finally done I asked about having an acclimation certificate signed by this Dr. Johnson, which Delta airlines needs for one of my puppies to fly to California that's going to a family friend. The acclimation certificate just states that the dog is fine in the specified temperatures during flight. It's a very common form Delta uses for animal transport. He refused to sign it!!! They only had 5 of the 6 health certificates on hand that I needed, so lucky me gets to go back here once that comes in. So, after paying about $700 I still had to leave there and go to a different Vet office, pay for another exam for the one pup flying and they signed the acclimation certificate no problem and said they fill them out all the time. 4 of these 6 golden pups are going to friends and family that live right by Animal Care Center. I will make sure they do not take them here for sure. Along with everyone else we know in this area unless I get word that Gary Johnson is no longer employed here. Once again the rest of the staff was great!!!! We are contemplating filing a complaint with the state of Florida's Veterinarian Licensing Board.

I had been bringing my dog here for a couple of years and the service has always been decent and the prices were cheaper. For over a month I’ve had to call and follow up with them regarding a proheart injection for my dog because they’ve been out. I had to call and follow up multiple times to see if they’ve received a shipment. They do not reach out, they don’t follow up, and they don’t even send a text or email confirming your appointment. After pushing my dogs appointment out for over a month, I had to call once again this morning (his appointment is scheduled for TOMORROW) to find out MYSELF if they had finally received the pro heart shipment. I was told “ No, we haven’t and I don’t have an update. If you can find an appointment elsewhere just take him somewhere else.” No apologies, no empathy, no customer service, no “let me see what I can do and give you a call”, there’s been NO effort whatsoever for over a month now. We will not be returning and will be looking for a vet elsewhere. I’d recommend doing the same! As they greatly lack customer service and professionalism.
