I had to come in on February 19th of this year to put my baby boy down. The staff were all very sympathetic and understanding, which I really appreciated. They gave us ample time to grieve after he passed, which I appreciated dearly. I hated to have to be at the vet for this reason, but everyone there made it that much easier. After he passed, a tray was knocked from the counter onto the floor out of nowhere, and it made me feel really nice to know my buddy was still with me through death. They even sent us a sympathy card in the mail and were still very kind and professional when we picked up his ashes. Pricing wasn't too bad either, only $260 for euthanasia + cremation, and that's simply because we wanted his ashes back.

Mar 23, 2025 · Cadence “Cas” BlanchardThis place is fantastic! This was my first time going, so here's some things to know: -Get there early because there will be a wait but the wait is So WORTH It! -If you go on a Saturday, see if Mrs. Carol is there and if she is, ask if you could have her as your nurse. She did wonders with my dog, who is terrified of the vet -It's not as expensive as other vet offices. I hope this review helps all animal parents who have animal babies that are terrified of the vet have a better experience ❤️
Apr 10, 2025 · Lori M BurrisI brought my pet 12 yr old Pomeranian Bunny to see doctor Scott. He unfortunately passed away in his care. It’s not so much that u lost my pet, because when we brought him in he wasn’t breathing properly from an enlarged heart and fluid in his lungs. He unfortunately developed a cough a couple weeks ago and stop eating about 3 days before his death. What was collus and inconsiderate was him and his staff brushing off our concerns and calling out pet BENNY. During his stay Dr Scott never offered me any suggestions after me and my finance constantly asked him what we should do for him in his current health state. They left him in a room to die lonely and kept giving him shots.. i feel so horrible for not knowing what it would look like. I never meant for my friend to experience such a horrible death. He shouldn’t have died the way he did had we known that was what was his treatment gonna look like I would have had him put down to ease his pain. Even after when I paid for the cremation I was questioned as to if I owed money which I had receipts for berthing I paid and all of his paperwork constantly calling him Bunny. The staff was inconsistent some cared and the ones tasked with the job could care less. Please DONT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE the last two photos are what remains of him and they wrote the name the bag wrong so they took off the name and gave me a bag with just my info on it.
Dec 24, 2024 · Justin JohnsonWe are beyond grateful we found SACH! We adopted from the shelter and within a week our puppy was infected from the negligent neutering and had cellulitis! The doctors and associate at SACH were able to help us same day for 10% of the cost of what other locations were quoting! We will forever be grateful for you saving Jack! We are never going anywhere else in Louisville again!
Jan 04, 2025 · Tiffani stoberTearfully had to make the choice to send Nibbles to the bridge. The Dr that helped him was very compassionate and allowed me to spend as much time as I needed with him and explained the process. It has however been 16 days and he hasn't come home yet. The vet told me 3-5 days maybe a week. Then I called 4 days ago only to be told "a few days" each time I call it's a different time frame. It's been more than enough time.
