I want to start by saying I never leave these types of reviews. Generally speaking I just take my hard earned money elsewhere and let the business owners figure it out on their own. I just can’t let this one go. We have used this veterinary facility for about 9 years and never really had issues until about 4-5 years ago. Time after time I gave this place a shot in a time crunch because I live 5 minutes down the road and work crazy hours. April of 2023 my little Remi got super sick and couldn’t retain any of his food or water. After trying everything we made an appointment immediately. I was 7 minutes late to my appointment and called them 30 minutes before hand to let them know and they charged me for an urgent care visit. After waiting on test results they came up empty handed with no diagnosis and started him on a prescribed diet. After giving him this food which I found out later he never really needed and giving him anti nausea medication for a few weeks. Nothing. Still in the same condition. Still undiagnosed. At this point in time he had already lost about 2 pounds. That’s a lot for a dog who only weighs in at 8 pounds to begin with. Still continuous calls to the vet. Fast forward to December of 2023, thousands of dollars later still no diagnosis. We still have issues to this day. September of 2023 In the middle of all of the chaos above I introduced a new member to the family. She is a beautiful Llewellin Setter who is now 1.5 years old. I never had any issues with her visits until I took her in to get her 1 year vaccines in December and before I could even sit down they handed me an estimate for like $700. For vaccines!? I’ve never seen anything like that. I immediately told them what we wouldn’t be doing and easily cut my bill in half for just the vaccines. That’s what we were there for to begin with. That same visit I asked for an estimate on how much it would cost to get her spayed. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. Over $1,200 is insanity, I decided I would look around and check out my options and the breeder we got her from does lots of business with their local veterinary office and estimated 1/3 of the cost above for everything. At that moment I decided I wouldn’t be back. Until today, I had a bit of an emergency. They just so happened to be able to fit me in their schedule. Everything was fine until I told them I decided to get her spayed elsewhere. At that moment the assistant looked at me concerned and wrote it on her little piece of paper or whatever. Shortly after we finished up consultation and she took Penelope back with her to let the doctor check her out. I asked for an estimate. A different lady came in the room and asked for the information of the practice I got her spayed at which was fine I had no problem giving to them except my girlfriend took her and handled everything so I didn’t really know too much about it. This whole time I can hear everyone in the back talking about how I got her spayed somewhere else. I told the lady that was asking for the information to give me a moment. She walked away and laughed amongst everyone that “I didn’t even know where I took her to get spayed” I gave the information to the doctor and while talking I can hear everyone in the back talking crap and laughing I guess because I didn’t want to pay 4x the amount for the same service. They rushed me out of there with a bottle of antiseptic spray and antibiotics. I asked when we would know what’s wrong with her and they asked to see her back in a week. Never saw an estimate I asked for twice! I asked the receptionist and she said I never got one because they don’t know what’s wrong with her. You all need to re-evaluate this entire staff aside from the doctors. Y’all will never see my money again not even in an emergency. I would also like to state money is never an issue for me but I won’t sit back and let you guys pickpocket me. I would rather pay triple what I paid today than to deal with this sad, sorry, ignorant, negligent, unprofessional, goofy business you guys have going on. 😃

If one of your fur babies suddenly needs emergency care, you obviously want to make sure they’re in the best hands. Well, that was definitely our experience with Shiloh! One evening we noticed that our male cat kept licking his male parts incessantly, so we began monitoring him closely. The next morning, we noticed he kept licking and then tried to use his litter box but produced no urine. At that point we knew he needed to be seen immediately. I called Shiloh to let them know what was going on with our kitty and they admitted him within the hour. Turns out he had a urethral obstruction (UO), which obviously needed urgent care. Dr. Davis and Christian (Vet Assistant) were absolutely exceptional. They were compassionate, extremely communicative, and took great care of our little guy. We really appreciated Dr. Davis calling us with updates on our kitty’s status, being thorough and clear on his explanations, and always giving us opportunity to ask questions. Christian was also wonderful, she explained things thoroughly, gave us food recommendations for extended care, and allowed us to come into the back room to visit our kitty while he was resting. Prior to moving forward with treatment, the staff also provided us with printed price breakdowns to make sure we understood the potential cost of treatment beforehand. Lastly, the entire Shiloh team was beyond fantastic, everyone from the front desk staff to the vet assistants to the veterinaries were kind, friendly, helpful, and offered a smile, which is exactly what you need when your fur baby is in a difficult situation (which can be extremely stressful). Shiloh team, we cannot thank you enough for taking care of our kitty. Thank you so very much for the amazing work you do!!!

We brought our dog here for years and she always received the best service. She recently had to be put down, and the staff could not have helped us through that in a better way. They made a difficult time for us, bearable. She had the best, most caring send off that we could give her.

On 10/8/24, we had to put our family member of 16 years down. From the time we walked in, to the time we drove home. The staff ( from the receptionist to the Doctor) helped us and guided us through a terrible time. We did not know what to expect. Although the situation was horrific, we were able to make it through due to this team. There are not enough words to express how much we appreciate this hospital. They took care of Lola through 16 years of beautiful life. Thank you to all of you and my God continue to bless all of you. Thank you.
