I can’t say enough about the loving care this practice provides. They have met every need of my sweet golden retriever, who recently passed due to cancer. They took amazing care of him - and me as well. Such compassion and responsiveness., and prices are very reasonable. I’ve gone to many vets over the years but this practice is hands down the very best of the best.

We were looking for a vet that would take good care of our 3 pound Hava-poo puppy. This is our 2nd visit Dr. Maise & her staff were great. I want to thank my neighbor for recommending Dr. Maise to be our Vet for our Cody. He loves everyone there! We are very pleased with how everyone there took great care of Cody If your looking for a great Vet then I would check out Shiloh Animal Hospital you can't go wrong

I took my dog in for 2 visits. I called prior to setting an appointment and they assured me it was okay to bring him in and we could just double muzzle him to be safe (because of his fear aggression to new people) The second visit went even better than the first (he did not attempt to act on his aggression and even if he did I’m right there holding/blocking him from anyone else with his muzzle on) the one thing that puzzled me about the second visit is the technician that came out to try and walk him herself, was apparently not familiar with the fact that he needs to be with me to keep him calm and almost insisted on taking him back with her. She was not friendly and after explaining that I only feel comfortable with me walking him, she went to check us into a room. I have him muzzled as I’m continuing to work with him on his fear aggression until it’s completely gone. He’s not a naturally aggressive dog - as in he isn’t aggressive just to be aggressive, it’s only out of the fear of others. He took medication to keep him more calm, did not bark the entire time (which he normally doesn’t anyways) and I kept him next to me. I thought the visit went well outside of the fact that the technician was not friendly and did not get familiar with my dog’s record before bringing us in. I paid for his shot and we left afterwards with a bunch of praise to him. A few weeks later, while my dog was at a dog boarding place (that loved him and he’s welcome back to) I get a call from the animal hospital saying my dog is too difficult for them to handle with his fear aggression. Although there have not been any incidents, they don’t feel comfortable with their new staff seeing him. If you were not comfortable seeing my dog, why didn’t you state that the first time I called and explained the situation to you ? Prior to ever having a first visit.. Lastly, if you advertise yourself as an animal hospital - you should be able and willing to expand your scope of knowledge and training in order to accommodate dogs like him. Seeing that he’s never bitten or attacked anyone, is actively training on his fears and his owner is fully capable of lifting and/or handling him as needed. I’m completely disappointed with this business’s close-mindedness, lack of integrity and foresight.

My husband and I felt welcomed by the front office staff, to include our fur puppy, Chloe-D, received an even warmer welcome from Dr. Mazzei. I’m happy I did my research when seeking out a good veterinarian for our fur girl.
