Shelby Veterinary Hospital

My 6 year old dog just got his teeth cleaned and 9 teeth extracted at Shelby Vet. The procedure went well and we received two descriptive calls with updates during the surgery. We were sent home with very helpful care instructions as well. My dog's recovery was great. I was nervous, as most pet parents are, about my small dog undergoing surgery, but I was really impressed by the care here. They took x-rays before and after to make sure all issues were properly resolved. I don't have a reason not to recommend them. It is a very expensive procedure but that seems to be the case no matter where you go.

First time there & first time out Cat has been to a Veterinarian in years. She has a periodic and reoccurring issue with her eye not opening up and her rubbing it. Everyone was very nice and friendly. The doctor did a thorough job examining out Cat and is very knowledgeable. He gave us some eye drops that are both an steroid and an antibiotic I would recommend them anytime

I cannot recommend Dr. Walker enough! From the moment we walked into the clinic, it was clear that our pets were in great hands. Dr. Walker is not only incredibly knowledgeable but also compassionate and genuinely caring. She takes the time to listen to all of our concerns and explains things in a way that makes us feel at ease. What truly sets Dr. Walker apart is her ability to connect with animals and make them feel comfortable, even in stressful situations. Our pets always seems so calm and at ease after seeing her, which speaks volumes about the level of care she provides. Whether it's a routine check-up or a more complex issue, we know our furry family members are getting the best possible care with Dr. Walker. Thank you for all you do! You are a true asset to our pet’s well-being, and we’re so grateful to have you as our vet.

Had a great 1st appointment with our new puppy Bean. Appointment was on time. Everyone was friendly. The vet was awesome!! can't remember his name :( Took his time & answered all our questions. He was very gentle with Bean.

Adrian Holly, D.V.M. is the best veterinarian I have ever had the privilege to care for my pup, Harley the mini Aussie who absolutely adores him. He is so gentle, informative, and does an amazing exam open to any and all questions we have. My fiance and I have seen him care for her a couple times now and he is our absolute favorite. So down to earth, gets down to our dogs level to establish comfortability. In addition, he established trust with not just my dog, and I feel like my doggie is getting the best care under him. He is absolutely skillful and full of skillful knowledge. He quickly develops an impressive bond with Harley who enjoys his company despite being at her vulnerable, confused, and nervous state. He makes driving 50 min to this vet extremely worth it. I feel so confident in his care. He is an outstanding Veterinarian. Thank you so much Adrian for all your healthy advice for the upmost quality care for my baby!! There’s no vet like you! Harley LOVES you!!

Everyone was so kind and a great help when we took our dog here. Everyone from the front desk, assistants, and vet was amazing. They explained everything perfectly, answered every question and we did not feel rushed to leave, we felt very prioritized. Although it is small, it’s very comfortable. I would highly recommend this place for future visits!
