We’ve taken both our cats to Shamrock the last 8 years and have had thorough care every time. This last time we had to bring in our cat who has NEVER been sick. They did everything, every test to try to figure out what was wrong and help her get better. We got the right combo of meds/care and got her back to normal. I also appreciate that they call to check-in to make sure things are still going well. I’m so thankful for the team at Shamrock for keeping our babies safe, strong and healthy. Thank you!

Shamrock Animal Hospital is the best! The doctors are very knowledgeable and caring. They have taken excellent care of my dog while she has undergone heartworm treatment. All the techs greet her by name before her appointments, and she is always happy to see them. I highly recommend signing your pet up for one of their wellness plans since it helps make routine visits more affordable in the long run. You will be happy with the quality care that your beloved pet receives here.

I went to Shamrock Animal Hospital for several years and if I hadn't moved I would continue to use them as the vet for my two dogs. They have been extremely helpful and understanding, especially when one of my dogs was sick. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends or family!

How often do people rave about healthcare? My experience with Shamrock Animal Hospital is a long-term relationship. Our dog is advanced in age (16+). The decisions get harder. Denny had a bad wound on his cheek that would not heal. We were back and forth to the vet trying to deal with the problem. Was it cancerous, is it infected, is the dog in pain. At every step the staff and the DVMs have been exceptional. Did they get everything right? Of course not, the nature of care is we do the best we can with the information we have at the time. After a rather longish lets try this, lets try that, I brought Denny in to find out if anything else could be done. On that lucky day the DVM was Kurt Walter-Hansen. He was genuinely a great listener and gave us a relatively simple option. Denny is back to normal and healed. We did not expect this. There are no guarantees with health. Having a place that actually wants to offer you the best solution was simply wonderful. Whatever your job is, we are fortunate when we meet people who are happy to be there and have found their calling. That is true of the people at SAH. Thank you.

Do not bring your pets here. Shamrock Animal Hospital is notoriously known within the veterinary community in Minnesota and if you mention this clinic to other providers across various areas of general practice or emergency medicine, they will look at you with shock as a result. The owner does not maintain a quality standard of care and frequently experiences turn over due to his poor medical practices. Stay away.
