Based on the available customer reviews, there are contrasting opinions regarding Seymour Veterinary Clinic. One reviewer expressed strong positive feedback, stating they "absolutely can’t say enough on how wonderful this clinic is" and offering a strong recommendation. This suggests that some pet owners have had positive experiences with the care and service provided at Seymour Veterinary Clinic.
However, another review presents a significantly negative experience. This customer sought emergency care for their sick dog in the early morning, noting that the clinic opened at 7 am and was a 30-minute drive away. Despite arriving before opening and not being a regular patient, the reviewer reported being turned away by the front desk staff, who allegedly stated they were too busy and suggested trying their sister office. The reviewer described the staff member as unfriendly, uncaring, and uninterested in their pet's urgent medical need.
Tragically, the reviewer's dog passed away less than 24 hours later. As a result of this experience, the reviewer strongly criticized Seymour Veterinary Clinic, stating it is "not a place that cares about animals" and recommending that others find a better veterinary provider. They specifically suggested Village Vet in Maryville as a more empathetic and accommodating clinic, emphasizing that Village Vet's staff would not turn away a sick animal even if fully booked.
Given these two contrasting reviews, it is challenging to provide a definitive overall assessment of Seymour Veterinary Clinic. The positive review indicates that some clients have been very satisfied with the care received. However, the negative review raises serious concerns about the clinic's handling of urgent situations and the empathy of the front office staff. This discrepancy highlights the importance of considering all available feedback when evaluating a veterinary service provider.

Pet hospitals sometimes offer promotions for services or products, especially to new clients or for specific health campaigns. However, without this information, it cannot be included in this introduction.
In conclusion, Seymour Veterinary Clinic is a pet hospital located in Seymour, TN, offering veterinary services to the local community. While one customer review expresses strong satisfaction, another details a very negative experience involving a refusal of care during a pet's illness, which had severe consequences. Potential clients should carefully consider these contrasting viewpoints and seek further information to make an informed decision about their pet's veterinary care needs.

Mar 06, 2025 · Mary HernandezMy dog had an issue and was sick in the very early hours of the morning on Thursday May 7, 2025. I drove 30 minutes to this clinic because they opened at 7am. I wasn't one of their patients but my dog was ill and I needed help. I was on their doorstep before they opened. The girl at the desk didn't seem to care and told me they were too busy and to try their sister office. She wasn't friendly or caring or interested in our problem at all. My dog died less than 24 hours later. This is not a place that cares about animals. I would recommend finding a better place to go. Try Village Vet in Maryville (not their sister office, a better highly recommended clinic). Their whole staff including the front office has a sense of empathy and would not turn someone away who has a sick animal even if the appointments were full.
May 11, 2025 · LisaMaria PalumboMy cat, Peaches, fell ill the week before thanksgiving so I called to get an appointment and thankfully they were able to get her in within a couple of days. Dr. Prado heard a strong heart murmur and recommended testing for heart disease given Peaches’ symptoms. I received a call from Dr. Randolph a couple days later and she urged me to bring her in the next day for a chest xray. Although we did not get the diagnosis that we’d hoped for, I am so grateful for Dr. Prado, Dr. Randolph, their vet techs, and the front staff of Seymour Vet. I truly cannot speak highly enough about the care and thoroughness that has been shown to us over the last 7 days. Thank you all for what you do.
Nov 30, 2024 · Kaitlin AtkinsSmall and personable vet. My idiot puppy loves going there (my older dog says it smells like death, one star 😂). I appreciate that they lay out options and prices for me to make an informed decision for treatment.
Mar 12, 2025 · Melissa P.Used to take my dog there until they made me mad. I reported a problem and they thought they fixed the issue their way but did not care about my concerns and did not care that I would take my dog somewhere else. Also have had it where they gave me a different dr than what I was promised ( I understand last minute emergencies happen but they should of called to make sure I wanted to see someone else or reschedule.) Do better Seymour Vet you should care if you lose people.
