I’ve been bringing my Dogs to see Dr. Finkelstien since they were pups, there’s no one me or my Dogs trust more. Their office staff is welcoming, helpful & trustworthy. And You can feel the love they all have for the animals in their care. The vet techs are always amazing with my Dogs and they continue to have positive experiences with Every visit - It’s their continuous connection and consistency that has fostered a beautiful relationship between my Dogs & going to the Vet (no vet anxiety here!) These girls are so great! I felt like I’d been bringing my pet here forever, from the time of our first visit. They’re efficient and fast and the energy is great. They were the only vet in the county that I was able to find to treat my type of exotic pet, and I was super nervous at our first visit (only the best for my pumpkin!). They took all the nervousness away immediately with their warmth and knowledge. So thankful I found you guys!

This practice is amazing. I want to thank Dr. Finkelstein and all her staff! They have been the best, most caring, understanding, and knowledgeable practice I’ve been to. I used to work as a vet tech for 8 years and have worked at multiple practices and this place deserves recognition. I have pet rats and absolutely adore them and my one girl had a lump. She needed surgery to remove it and they did it perfectly. She recovered just fine. More recently I noticed a mass in her stomach. She had been lethargic and not eating right and of course I noticed this at the end of the day. I was panicking. It was 4:52 and they close at 5 but I called anyway. I told them my situation and said I understood they were closing but asked if anyone would be able to see her today. Especially since with these small guys, things can turn quick. To my astonishment they said they would stay for me. I’m 30m away and they waited for me. Saw her, took their time with her and still had empathy for me and her. Though my girl’s prognosis is not very good, I am forever grateful they got her in. She does have a large mass on her bladder and I’m not sure how much longer I have with her but they gave her meds and antibiotics and she’s acting a lot more alert. I’m grateful for any extra days I have with her. And the vet gave me those days.

This vet has proved on more than one occasion that she is more interested in making money that she is in the caring for the pet. Truly put us under a lot of stress mis-diagnosing my dog with a collapsed trachea. On another occasion she insisted on sedating my 7 month old puppy to remove a tooth when he had respiratory infection (reason I took him in to get checked). Visit here with discretion.

We had to bring our terrier mix Eddie here for an emergency gastrointestinal issue. The folks at this clinic fit us in within hours and did a super job checking our little guy out. They presented us with an estimate before doing anything and gave us the option of a complete work up or enough to get his issue under control. They were super kind to us and wonderful to our little guy. I would definitely recommend Sebastian Animal and Bird Clinic!
