Based on the customer reviews, Scarlett Mobile Large Animal Services has garnered both positive and negative feedback regarding their services. One reviewer enthusiastically recommends them, stating, "Scarlett Mobile is amazing! We are so thankful and grateful to Dr. Briggs and all of the team! Would not want anyone else to take care of our Farm babies! Highly recommend if you have any need for a farm Vet they are the ones to call! Thank you Dr. Briggs and all the employees at Scarlett Mobile Large Animal Services!" This positive testimonial highlights the gratitude and trust this client has in Dr. Briggs and the entire team for the care of their farm animals.

However, another, more detailed review presents a contrasting experience involving the care of a donkey. In this instance, the reviewer called Scarlett Mobile for an emergency when a donkey got caught in a fence and couldn't get up. Dr. Brent, who was the closest, responded to the emergency. The reviewer's account indicates a difference in approach between two veterinarians from Scarlett Mobile. According to the review, Dr. Brent initially suggested euthanizing the donkey, even though there were no apparent injuries. The following day, Dr. Britt examined the donkey, provided medication, and gave instructions for care. The reviewer expressed the desire to save the young donkey.

The situation escalated when the caregiver noticed the donkey worsening, leading to another call to Scarlett Mobile. The reviewer alleges that Dr. Brent then called the owner, which subsequently resulted in animal control becoming involved and threats of animal cruelty charges against those caring for the animals. The reviewer explicitly stated that Dr. Brent would no longer be welcome on their property and voiced disappointment with Dr. Britt for demanding payment for a follow-up visit that the reviewer felt was related to the investigation allegedly initiated by Dr. Brent. This detailed account raises concerns about communication, differing professional opinions, and the handling of emergency situations within Scarlett Mobile Large Animal Services.

Given that Scarlett Mobile Large Animal Services operates as a mobile "Pet Hospital" for large animals, their services are primarily delivered on-site at the location of the animals. This implies that they bring the necessary equipment and expertise to the farm or property. The environment, therefore, is not a traditional clinic but rather the familiar surroundings of the animals they serve. This can be less stressful for large animals compared to transporting them to a clinic.

The services offered by Scarlett Mobile Large Animal Services likely include:

  • Emergency Services: As indicated by the response to the injured donkey.
  • Routine Health Checks: For farm animals.
  • Vaccinations: Appropriate for large animals.
  • Treatment of Illnesses and Injuries: Specific to the needs of livestock.
  • Consultations and Advice: On the health and care of farm animals.
  • Euthanasia: When deemed necessary.

The features of Scarlett Mobile Large Animal Services include:

  • Mobile Service: Providing care directly at the farm.
  • Expertise in Large Animals: Specifically catering to the health needs of livestock.
  • Responsiveness: As noted in the emergency call response.
  • Team of Veterinarians: Including Dr. Briggs, Dr. Brent, and Dr. Britt, each potentially with different approaches or specialties.

The contrasting reviews highlight the importance of considering different experiences when evaluating a service provider. While one client had a very positive experience with Dr. Briggs and the team, another encountered issues with Dr. Brent's approach and the subsequent handling of the situation.

I take care of most of the business regarding the farm as the owner is a very busy man and frequently travels. I called Scarlett Mobile when one of our donkeys who was in with the horses got caught in the fence and fell down. Dr. Brent was the closest to the farm and came on out for our emergency, because the donkey would not get back up. This Dr. Brent wanted to put down the donkey from the very beginning. Even Dr. Brent said there was not a mark on Fred (donkey)or anything that looked broken or damaged. Dr. Britt came out the next day and checked on Fred, gave medication and instructions to our new animal care providers - which they followed to a "T". The donkey was only two years old, and we wanted to save him if possible. The caregiver called to tell me Fred was getting bad, so I called Scarlett Mobile to have someone come out and see if he had any chance at all. The end result was that Dr. Brent called the owner, chewed him out, and animal control was out there the next morning. From my point of view, Dr. Brent from Scarlett Mobile caused the "investigation" because we were hoping to save a donkey that still had baby teeth. AND I had cops threatening to issue animal cruelty charges on the people who are taking such wonderful care of all the animals. Dr. Brent will never set foot on our property again or I will have him arrested for trespassing or anything else I can think up. Now the regular vet, Dr. Britt, who I thought of as a professional, caring vet, knew all about the situation with the Fred. She came out last week and her invoice fell through the cracks and has not been paid. The credit card on file declined (I don't know why yet) and even though she has never has a payment issue with us before, is demanding payment because, get this, she is doing keeping an eye on our animals because of "The Investigation", completely forgetting or ignoring the fact that this company started it. I don't need a lecture from Scarlett Mobile over a payment issue I just found about, all of us need an apology for what their unprofessional, arrogant Dr. Brent has put us through.

Our regular vet was not available when one of our Nubian goats experienced complications during labor. Shortly after I left a panicky voicemail with Scarlett, I got a text from Pam and within an hour Dr. Briggs and her assistant Shanna arrived. They helped deliver three(!) breeched doelings. Dr. Briggs and Shanna were very professional, calm, yet expedient in providing excellent care to our doe and her kids.
