I had just moved to a new property with my pony and wasn’t established with a local vet yet. My pony choked on a carrot close to midnight and Dr Toro came out on an emergency call to help him. Dr Toro was prompt, knowledgeable, patient and friendly and calmed our nerves and treated my boy. So thankful for his expertise and look forward to many years ahead using Sarasota Equine!

My experience scheduling an appointment for my boy was very pleasant. The receptionist I’ve spoken with was polite and patient over the phone. She was also prompt and courteous. My gelding and I had the honor of meeting our new vet, “Dr. Copeland”, last week. Dr. Copeland is extremely observant and kind. My horse immediately took to him and seemed to enjoy his visit! (Despite the fact that he needed to be “poked!) It’s obvious Dr. Copeland is highly experienced, caring, knowledgeable, thorough and never wants to leave a client with any questions or confusion. He was sure to ask several times if I had any questions or if there was anything else he could help us with. Along with that, he has a lovely sense of humor which puts everyone at ease and makes the atmosphere light and positive. 👍🏻 👍🏻 I certainly hope I do not have to call them again except for the usual routine visits, but if I do, I am relieved and confident in knowing that my horse is in the BEST hands! EDIT: Since Dr Copeland has retired, “Dr. Kaiser”, is now my geldings new primary care veterinarian. He is phenomenal! It is easy to see how much he cares about his four legged clients. He takes the time to answer and explain every question you can possibly come up with! He is honest, professional, and, is also very gentle with my senior guy. (I can tell my horse really likes him!) We are very thankful for the top notch care he provides for my beloved, “Killian”. 👍🏻 👍🏻 :D

I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to Dr. Krisch from Sarasota Equine veterinarian located at located in Sarasota Fl. Dr. Krisch is the best! I stumbled across her after scouring through multiple reviews. Dr. Krisch treats all her equine animals along with their owners with such kindness and respect. She has always listened to any requests and offered suggestions. When my horse was treated for an injury, she explained step-by-step and showed me how and what she was going to treat her. I absolutely feel Dr. Krisch who goes above and beyond to all of her equine clients and owners. I would highly recommend Sarasota Equine Veterinary for all your equine needs. Their staff is amazing! Dr Krisch sees both of my geldings. After years of issues I found out my boy had an OCD hock chip. I have been to so many other vets and had lameness exams done with no luck on any findings. Just glad to have my answer!
