This clinic was the best clinic I’ve ever been too they were fast, polite, gave me information and showed me how to give my puppy medicine . My dog had three different worms in his stomach that was making him suffer but he acted normal so I never had a clue my baby was suffering . But once I came here they automatically got him and immediately started checking him . The staff was amazing and I appreciate the Doctor !! Definitely recommend if your dog is in serious trouble, they will guide you and help you .

I've taken my dog here since she was a baby. They've been pretty good to her, I always drop her off and pick her up a few hours later. They give her the annual check up and all shots. I think the shots are a rip off but I have to do it right?! Dr. McLean is very nice and polite, goes over everything with me.

The worst experience I’ve ever had at a vet’s office. I don’t know who writes the positive reviews. If you’re considering bringing your animal here please reconsider for your pet’s sake. I had a misfortune of seeking help at Santa Marietta Animal Hospital when my regular vet’s office was closed. At that time one of my cats was in a serious condition: he couldn’t eat, drink, use his litter box or keep his head up. I didn’t expect this office to diagnose my cat since my regular vet wasn’t able to after multiple appointment and tests. I was looking to get him rehydrated via subcutaneous fluids. It had solved the issue in the past which I informed the doctor about. I was very upfront about my pet’s needs over the phone and at the front desk. Instead when the doctor saw us he got very dismissive and rude once I decided against leaving my cat there overnight (i did read a review about them negatively impacting someone’s pet’s health with their overnight “care”) and declined a battery of tests (~300$) which we’d done a week prior at our regular vet. All I asked for is to ease my cat’s suffering by rehydrating him via SQ fluids and prescribing a bag of SQ fluids to go as well, just so we could make it till Monday. Instead I got a rude dismissive reaction, the doctor decided since I’m not spending big, my cat is not worth his time. When the time came to administer SQ fluids, he didn’t place the catheter in properly on the first attempt and it got ripped out. On his second attempt he asked me to hold the cat down (I’ve never been asked to assist at the vets office before). The cat screamed out and I got scratched. Poor baby found it in him to fight The pain inflicted by this so called veterinarian. Afterwards he brought a heating pad and made me stand there and hold my cat on the table for 30 minutes. I forgot to mention that the room itself was disgusting: floors and cabinets were dirty, everything is overflowing with junk, open sticky jars of peanut butter and honey, used swabs on the counter, dirty thermometer after taking my cat's temperature rectally, dirt in the sink, a weird smell (a pic of this mess attached). When the doctor came back, he refused to prescribe SQ fluids, he was adamant about leaving my cat there overnight. There was no reason for it and he couldn’t justify it. When the time came to leave I asked for a prescription again and got denied. With tears in my eyes I paid the bill. No well wishes, no goodbyes, not a word from the staff or the doctor. Then I tried taking a large animal carrier, my bag, and a stack of papers out of the door. I couldn’t do it. The doctor and his staff were standing right behind my back and watching me struggle with the door instead of helping. I dragged the carrier out while holding the door with my foot. I hope none of pet owners will ever get to experience this level of disregard for their family member’s life. Doctor Nicholas McLean doesn’t care about animals well-being and doesn’t keep the veterinarian’s oath. Please stay away

I'm very pleased with the care my dog its been receiving from Dr.Nicholas M. And his staff over the years. Cooper was 3 months old when he first saw Dr.Nicholas and we never took him anywhere else,he is now 10 years old and still receives the same level of care.Keep up the great work Santa!

The doctor who did my dog spay surgery was very informative. The staff was nice to me and didn’t come off rude like how some are saying. I feel like when you talk to people with respect you get it in return. But aside from that my beagle Emma is doing great with her healing process. They also were able to get us in last minute for the spay and I appreciated that given the circumstances that my dog would t be able to do boarding without this.
