My dog died under Dr. Freyman, he misdiagnosed my 9 years old chihuahua. The weighing animals by holding them is not the way to do that either. Freyman practice should be shut down. Thunder died on March 28th, 2024. We were devastated šŸ’” 😢

We made a last minute appt for our 2 yr old cat who had an enflamed rear end, lethargy, and lack of bowel movements. They told us they could fit us in if we got there within the hour and we got there as fast as we could. The woman who did our intake was friendly but other than that we had an awful experience. Upon arrival the office smelled like urine that had soaked into the wood paneling and wood benches. Looked and smelled unsanitary. The dr took our cats weight by holding him and weighing himself on a human scale, never seen a vet without an animal scale. The exam was barely an exam. Took his temp rectally (that's normal, that's fine) and then proceeded to use a dry q-tip to get a sample from him to check for parasites. Very uncomfortable for our cat I'm sure, but okay...he went back to take a look and we're not sure if he used a microscope or something to see if there were parasites? He barely explained what he was doing. Said no parasites and then came back with Two injections for him. We believe an antibiotic and a steroid but he didnt explain the injections or why he was giving them, and then gave us Amoxicillin to take home and give him twice a day for 7 days for a presumed bacterial infection. We asked about blockages and he said "yeah that's a possibility" but no instructions for options we had moving forward, what might happen or what to look for. My partner had to ask him toward the end of the exam to even palpate his abdomen for firmness or discomfort which he should have done initially. We spent about $200 for that 15 min exchange. Was sent on our way with a small sheet of paper (with misspellings I might add) that we could barely read the handwriting on. We gave him the antibiotics as prescribed and no change after three days before we decided to take him to Vetco to get a second opinion. They were also appalled at the sub-standard care that we were given. They diagnosed him with a problem that Amoxicillin would never have fixed. Our cat could have had really severe consequences if we hadn't taken him somewhere else. It just goes to show you that even though it may be cheap, you are losing out in both quality and peace of mind.

My cat jigsaw, has been struggling with a UTI, for months. Turns out it was a blockage, and after being scammed by one vet.. dr freyman immediately took action, and my sweet boy has been there for 5 days now, and everyone is so sweet when I call and check up on him. The prices are so affordable, and you can tell him and the entire staff love their animals. I genuinely believe i would not have been able to afford this if it was any other vet. Thank you for taking care of my Jigsaw.

It’s sad to see the bad reviews on here, especially since my experience in this clinic was so pleasant.. despite the circumstance. I brought my munchkin cat, Beans, in because he was lethargic and had blood in his pee. We had just rescued him months prior from someone who said ā€œdon’t use the clumping litter he will get a UTI because his privates are so low to the groundā€ a munchkin cat has very short legs, and a normal sized body so to me that sounded completely normal and believable with the litter, but 2 weeks in he had a UTI, so we bought over the counter drops and treated at home and he seemed fine. We noticed he frequently had pee issues, avoided his box, peed on rugs and furniture so we contained him to our VERY LARGE 300 sqft sun room until we broke the poor potty habits. We even had him fixed to eliminate all possible issues. He was new and we didn’t know if this was him being picky, upset about a new home, or marking his territory. I mean we really tried and assumed we were doing good I mean we got the litter right… 3 months later we awoke to what looked like a horror scene, blood everywhere. ANY PET OWNERS WORST NIGHTMARE. I rushed him to this vet and he was on the brink of death, I was just heart broken.. His bladder was full because he had another UTI. This doctor saved his life! Our cat has no issue with clumping litter, he has a food allergy and needs medicated food. Now I stop by every 3 months and pick up a 25 pound bag of his prescription food and my sweet boy hasn’t peed ANYWHERE but his litter box, hasn’t had a single UTI since that happened. This Vet is educated, compassionate and the front office staff are a breath of fresh air. I was a first time cat owner then.. given poor and inaccurate information from a prior owner, now I’m educated enough to see those signs and care for my cat because of this office!!
