Sandra Hudson focuses specifically on canine rehabilitation, a branch of veterinary medicine dedicated to improving movement and function in dogs with injuries, illnesses, or age-related conditions. Sandra Hudson offers a range of services focused on restoring and improving canine mobility. Based on the customer reviews, her expertise includes:
Post-Surgical Rehabilitation: As evidenced by the mastiff's successful recovery after two TPLO (Tibial Plateau Leveling Osteotomy) surgeries, Sandra excels in guiding dogs through the crucial rehabilitation process following orthopedic procedures. This involves tailored exercises and therapies to rebuild strength, restore range of motion, and ensure a full and functional recovery.
Non-Surgical Management of Injuries: The case of the 7-year-old bulldog with a torn ACL and neurological issues highlights Sandra's ability to develop effective treatment plans for dogs who are not candidates for surgery. The "miraculous" progress reported suggests a comprehensive approach utilizing various rehabilitation techniques to manage pain, improve stability, and enhance mobility without surgical intervention.
Senior Dog Mobility and Comfort: The testimonial about the 14-year-old Labrador emphasizes Sandra's skill in maintaining mobility and comfort in aging dogs. Her approach includes exercises that can be performed both at her clinic and at home, empowering owners to actively participate in their senior dog's care and well-being. This proactive approach can significantly improve the quality of life for older dogs, keeping them active and engaged for longer.
Home Exercise Programs: Sandra goes beyond in-clinic treatments by educating owners on exercises they can perform with their pets at home. This collaborative approach ensures continuity of care and allows for consistent progress in the dog's rehabilitation journey. Her willingness to share her knowledge makes her a valuable resource for pet owners committed to their dog's long-term mobility.

Focus on Long-Term Improvement: The testimonials highlight not just immediate relief but also sustained improvement in mobility and quality of life over time. This indicates a focus on addressing the root causes of the issues and empowering dogs to maintain their functionality in the long run.

Feb 22, 2025 · Elizabeth WrightI highly recommend and fully credit Sandra Hudson for helping my now 14 year old Labrador stay mobile and comfortable in her senior years. Sandra has great tools at her place but also shows you exercises you can do with your pet at home. She is a wealth of information, and such a kind spirit. We have been going to her since my dog was 12 and people are amazed when they find out my dog is actually 14 because she looks so good.

Dec 27, 2022 · Belinda DaigleSandra Hudson is amazing! She has an underwater treadmill and that, along with her other PT, were essential to my two dogs getting better after their cruciate ligament surgeries. She is the best dog physical therapist around. And she is as nice and kind of a person as I have ever come across.
