Sep 22, 2024 · nova vanessaJust moved to the area and honestly chose them for location. I had only visited Sandhill twice, once to start service and the second time because Lucy Danger seemed uncomfortable. My 5 year old English Bulldog had some weird, worrying symptoms and Sandhill gave me a referral to C vets to get me in ASAP. I ended up going to their ER even before my scheduled appointment, but sad story made short, our fur baby was diagnosed with a brain tumor and was humanely euthanized to stop her suffering. I was very appreciative of the hand written sympathy card I received after her passing, but a week later, I was really floored when I received notice that they had donated money in Lucy Danger's name to a veterinary school. Sometimes it's the little things that define good healthcare. Most competent vet hospitals can draw blood, take ex-rays and perform routine surgical procedures. But Sandhill actually treated Lucy's family AFTER her passing, and it was such a kind and healing gesture. It says so much about their commitment to great care and their empathy for those of us that have lost a fur baby.
Aug 25, 2024 · Margaret XandersI have been going to this vet since my first dog was 8 weeks old (2021) ! I have ALWAYS had a good experience with my usual doctor over the past almost 4 YEARS ! I have since started breeding my middle dog she is on her 2nd litter. If you are a breeder, have a accidental litter or chose to not “fix” your pet do not visit this hospital because they will make you feel as if you are doing your dog an injustice and are a horrible owner. At my last visit she grabbed my male dog by the balls and said “You need to get rid of these”! If she read my chart and took time to realize that me being a client for almost 4 YEARS with 3 pets that are patients that is something I’m not ok with. Just because an owner decides not to spay or neuter does not make them a “bad” owner! This visit she tells me “ You really don’t need to be letting her have all these puppies”! Within seconds of walking into the room this made me feel very small as her owner that loves her ! I'm very hurt from my last two visits because I love my dogs dearly. I don’t have children so they are Litterally like my kids! Im FULLY aware of what the intentions MAY have been! (The dogs best interest) Which are also MY intentions. But there is a way to EDUCATE owners without insinuating the owner is not being a good owner by allowing such things to happen! I’m a very nice person & understanding person and I just don’t feel comfortable taking my pets there anymore because I feel very judged and belittled as a dog mom of 3 ! I hope no one else leaves that place feeling the way I feel! They probably don’t care but I just want to inform any other owners that don’t agree with spay and neutering or may want to breed in the future this is not the vet for you !
Nov 18, 2024 · Scarlett BonhamReally friendly, informative staff at this convenient clinic. Multiple veterinarians assure scheduling ease. Very clean and professional.
Mar 21, 2025 · Greer KelleyWonderful vet. Great prices, accepts Care Credit and is very flexible with scheduling. Never have to wait too long. They have done surgery on my cat, and helped with my parents dog who had cancer. They have a huge waiting room which is a big plus for me. They have grooming services and boarding services as well. The front desk staff is very friendly and always very helpful and knowledgeable about our pets. Its very nice and clean, and great service and advice for all the little things that come up with owning a cat or dog. A+
