*8 month old Cat* 35$ check-up is exactly what you get. Everyone's experience and pet is different, and unfortunately, our experience was very deceptive. Being as desperate as I was, I took my cat here. There were no issues with the staff and nurse as they were helpful and very kind. I had come in due to my cat experiencing constipation, AND THE DOCTOR MISS DIAGNOSED MY CAT. Being NOT a pet doctor, like everyone else, i shut up, listened, and paid. The doctor, hearing that our pet had potentially ate plastic, deemed his issue as hairballs, with a simple abdomen check. He had seemed very judgemental and dismissed us after hearing that we had not fed him BECAUSE he couldn't poop! And stated, "You should feed him. That's why he isn't popping." Like alright, it's not like I informed you of everything that's happening at home. Super arrogant man he treated us after like we were bad pet owners. This clinic is also expensive, upchanging for things you can get yourself, so maybe look up what they're suggesting and get it yourself if possible. With that, my poor baby died on us due to blockage, and we had to put him down elsewhere. *Picture is before he was put down, before you think they care to even put a little heart on his sleeve before dying*.

San Fernando Pet Hospital Introduce

San Fernando Pet Hospital, located at 1523 Truman St. in San Fernando, California, operates as a "Pet Hospital" offering veterinary care for animals. They can be contacted at (818) 361-8636 or +1 818-361-8636. As a pet hospital, they are expected to provide a range of services related to the health and medical needs of pets. However, the publicly available information primarily consists of customer reviews that detail significantly negative experiences, which should be carefully considered by local users.

Based on the provided reviews, it is challenging to give a positive or neutral introduction to San Fernando Pet Hospital. Both reviews describe critical failures in diagnosis and a perceived lack of appropriate care, leading to tragic outcomes for the pets involved. One reviewer brought their 8-month-old cat in due to constipation and reported that the veterinarian misdiagnosed the issue as hairballs after a simple abdomen check, despite the owner's concern that the cat might have ingested plastic. The reviewer described the doctor as judgmental and arrogant, feeling dismissed and treated like a bad pet owner. Tragically, the cat later died due to a blockage that was allegedly missed by the initial diagnosis at San Fernando Pet Hospital. The reviewer explicitly advises others who value their pets not to come to this clinic, emphasizing that the cheap check-up fee was not worth the outcome.

The second review echoes similar sentiments of misdiagnosis and a negative interaction with the veterinarian. This pet owner also suspected a blockage in their cat due to potential plastic ingestion but stated that the doctor insisted it was just hairballs, providing a paste and expecting improvement within 48 hours. When the cat's condition worsened, with symptoms like straining outside the litter box, lethargy, and loss of appetite, the owner sought help at an emergency hospital, where the cat was ultimately put down due to the consequences of the alleged false diagnosis at San Fernando Pet Hospital. This reviewer also strongly urges others not to bring their pets to this clinic.

Given these overwhelmingly negative accounts focusing on diagnostic failures and poor interaction with the veterinarian, it is difficult to objectively describe the environment, services, or features of San Fernando Pet Hospital in a positive light based solely on this information. Typically, a pet hospital should offer a clean and safe environment for examinations and treatments, a range of veterinary services, and features such as knowledgeable staff and appropriate medical equipment. However, the provided reviews cast a serious shadow on the quality of care and diagnostic accuracy at this particular facility, at least in the experiences of these two pet owners.

Regarding services, we can infer that San Fernando Pet Hospital offers general check-ups, as mentioned in one review's reference to a "$35 check-up." They likely also provide diagnostic services, although the reviews critique their accuracy. Other standard services expected from a pet hospital might include vaccinations, treatment for common ailments, and potentially more advanced procedures depending on their facilities and staff expertise. However, the negative experiences shared raise significant concerns about the effectiveness and reliability of these services as perceived by at least two customers in critical situations.

Features that a pet hospital might typically promote include experienced veterinarians, compassionate staff, modern equipment, and a commitment to animal welfare. While one reviewer mentioned that the staff and nurse were helpful and kind, the central issue in both reviews is the performance and demeanor of the doctor. The strong negative feedback regarding misdiagnosis and arrogance overshadows any potential positive features that might otherwise be present.

There is no promotional information available in the provided text. Given the severity of the negative feedback, it is unlikely that any standard promotional language would be appropriate or reflective of the experiences shared by these customers.

In conclusion, the available information regarding San Fernando Pet Hospital in San Fernando, CA, is dominated by two very negative customer reviews detailing alleged misdiagnosis and poor veterinary conduct, leading to the deaths of both pets. While the hospital operates as a "Pet Hospital" and likely offers standard veterinary services, these reviews serve as serious warnings for potential local users. It is crucial for individuals seeking veterinary care for their pets to consider these experiences when making decisions. For those in the San Fernando area, it would be prudent to weigh this information carefully and perhaps seek additional opinions or consider alternative veterinary care providers based on these accounts. Local users can contact San Fernando Pet Hospital at the provided phone number, but should also be aware of the deeply concerning experiences shared by these reviewers.

i don’t even want to leave one star. i came to this clinic super worried about my pet. i knew something was wrong with him and the staff was fine, some more pleasant than others, but the doctor was straight arrogant. he treated me like i was overreacting. saying condescending things like the cat needs to eat to poop but i knew over feeding him would cause bloating. i told him from the beginning i suspected a blockage because my cat had ate some plastic but he insisted it was just hairballs. gave me some paste and promised he’d poop within 48hours. but my cat didn’t. he was trying to go outside of the litter, being lethargic and lost appetite. it’s been days. he's been suffering till i had enough money. so now im at a emergency hospital trying to fix this poor diagnosis. please. if you value your pet like family. DO NOT COME HERE. It is NOT worth the cheap check up. update: it’s been 2 days since my review. i had to put my cat down because of their false diagnosis. if i could raise hell on this place, i would. i put a picture of my sweet boy with his catheters before the procedure at a DIFFERENT emergency clinic. PLEASE PLEEEASE DONT BRING YOUR BABY HERE.

I wish I never took my dog here!!! I took my dog for a procedure and was told his appointment was at 10am and wasn’t seen until 4:30pm only after we complained. Their Receptionist are the worst, rude, they have absolutely no communication skills and terrible costumer service skills. They have no communication with the back office and just give you the run around as to what’s happening to your pet. Scary!! This place is very unorganized. Dr. Park was very nice and called us back after we decided to not go through with the procedure, so we decided to leave him. After procedure was over we never saw the Dr. again to have him explain what he did. The receptionist are the ones that give you the meds not the assistants and Tonya was giving us the wrong med. Again scary!! Also I was told they were going to remove a growth at the same time since he was put under and they didn’t. So now I still have to have it removed and he’ll have to be put under again. Definitely not doing it here!! They have parking for 3 cars and they give you the estimate the day they are going to do the procedure. I don’t recommend this place at all!!

If you are looking for a decent pet care provider who is actually NOT trying to rip you off and capitalize on your love and care for your sick animal - get an appointment with them or do a walk in. I don’t think there is another pet hospital that can actually beat their prices. And if you are Spanish speaking - no worries, they can totally assist you in Spanish! Big thanks to the whole team of professionals ♥️

Horrific what I witnessed here. I was going in to get my chihuahua checked and a Frenchie walked in and attacked a husky pup, the vet came out and vet walked out and smacked the husky and pulled it by its tail because they thought the husky was at fault?? I just left there is no way I’m ever coming back here
