Up until more recently our vet had stop taking rabbits. Now our otherwise healthy bun now we discover has some kind of mass under all her fur (lionhead bun). After what felt like a million calls. I found this wonder place! They were able to get us in same day, her surgery scheduled a couple of days later. They were super kind, prices were not unreasonable. Her surgery cost was under initial quote. Mocha is recovering well. Thank you to the wonderful doctor and staff!

As a dedicated Pet Hospital, Sacajawea Veterinary Hospital provides a comprehensive range of veterinary services and goods to cater to the diverse needs of your animal companions. We understand that your pets are family, and we are committed to offering compassionate, high-quality care in a comfortable and welcoming environment.

While specific details about the hospital's environment are not explicitly provided in the given information, you can expect a clean, organized, and calming atmosphere designed to minimize stress for both you and your pet. A well-equipped pet hospital typically includes examination rooms for consultations and routine check-ups, a surgical suite for various procedures, diagnostic imaging facilities (such as X-ray or ultrasound), and potentially a laboratory for in-house testing. While we don't have visual descriptions, rest assured that Sacajawea Veterinary Hospital prioritizes a safe and hygienic environment for all patients.

Sacajawea Veterinary Hospital offers a wide array of services to address your pet's health needs. Based on the provided customer reviews, we can highlight several key areas of their expertise:

General Veterinary Care: This encompasses routine check-ups, vaccinations, parasite prevention (such as flea, tick, and heartworm control), and wellness examinations to ensure your pet stays healthy and happy throughout their life stages. Early detection of potential health issues through regular check-ups is crucial for proactive care.

Surgical Services: The positive review mentioning a successful surgery on a rabbit indicates that Sacajawea Veterinary Hospital is equipped to handle various surgical procedures. This may include routine surgeries like spaying and neutering, as well as more complex procedures depending on the expertise of their veterinary team. The fact that the surgery cost was under the initial quote suggests transparency and responsible pricing.

Same-Day Appointments and Timely Care: The ability to secure a same-day appointment, as highlighted in the rabbit owner's review, is a significant advantage. This demonstrates their commitment to addressing urgent health concerns promptly, providing peace of mind to pet owners during stressful situations.

Specialized Care for Various Animals: The mention of successful rabbit surgery is noteworthy, as not all veterinary clinics have the expertise or resources to handle the specific needs of smaller animals like rabbits. This suggests that Sacajawea Veterinary Hospital may have a broader range of expertise than just cats and dogs.

Cat-Friendly Approach: The positive feedback regarding cats liking the staff indicates a comfortable and stress-reduced environment for feline patients. This might involve specific handling techniques, separate waiting areas, or other measures to cater to the unique sensitivities of cats.

Diagnostic Services: While not explicitly detailed, a functioning pet hospital like Sacajawea Veterinary Hospital would likely offer essential diagnostic services to aid in accurate diagnoses. These could include blood tests, urine analysis, fecal examinations, and potentially imaging techniques like X-rays to identify underlying health issues.

Preventative Medicine: A core aspect of veterinary care is preventative medicine. This includes vaccinations to protect against common and potentially life-threatening diseases, parasite control to keep your pet comfortable and healthy, and nutritional counseling to ensure they are receiving the appropriate diet for their age, breed, and activity level.

Dental Care: Although not directly mentioned in the reviews, dental health is a vital component of overall pet well-being. Many veterinary hospitals offer dental cleanings, examinations, and advice on at-home dental care to prevent periodontal disease and other oral health problems.

Compassionate and Knowledgeable Staff: Both customer reviews consistently praise the kindness, helpfulness, and knowledge of the staff at Sacajawea Veterinary Hospital. This highlights a client-centric approach where the well-being of the animal and the concerns of the owner are taken seriously. A supportive and informative team can significantly enhance the veterinary care experience.

Focus on the Pet's Best Interest: The comment about prioritizing the pet's health over up-selling is a strong indicator of ethical and trustworthy practice. This suggests that the veterinarians and staff at Sacajawea Veterinary Hospital are genuinely dedicated to providing necessary care without unnecessary financial burdens.

Potential for Goods and Supplies: As a "Pet Hospital" category platform, Sacajawea Veterinary Hospital may also offer a selection of pet-related goods for sale. This could include prescription medications, specialized pet food, parasite preventatives, and other health-related products. Having these resources available on-site can be convenient for pet owners.

Highly recommend this vet clinic. They've always had our pets health as the priority, rather than just up-selling. The cats seem to really like all the people too! Everyone there is very helpful and knowledgeable and I've been nothing but happy with our cat's care.

The clinic I’d used for 20 years and had a massive turnover of staff. I wasn’t satisfied. My daughter brought her service dogs to Sacajawea and I met Dr Mason. I saw the dogs were well treated, comfortable and happy to be there. The doctor took her time, answered all the questions, and did a through exam. Satisfied I brought my dog in. There was not hard sell to test and my girl really liked the staff and the treatment. The doctor found what was needed, filled a prescription and told me where the refills were cheaper. My pup really wanted to stay. That’s a good measure of care.

The past two days were our first visits here with our sweet but difficult pups. The staff was super understanding and helpful and worked a miracle meeting their needs. They were very welcoming and we think we've found a new home for our girls medical care.

We were customers there for over 11 years. 6 months ago my cat Littlebits broke her leg. We had to take her to an emergency hospital. We found out that she had a heart murmur, and only 1 developed kidney! 6 months later and she was just put to sleep her one kidney was to taxed. It only had 25% left. Dr Virgin should not be practicing medicine on animals PERIOD. BEWARE PEOPLE! THEY HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THEY ARE DOING!!!
