Apr 08, 2025 · Sara WilliamsDr Macpherson and his PA were beyond kind and compassionate to me when I brought my cat Purrcee in and he had to be put down. They showed me so much empathy and kindness making something very hard more loving and gentle. I cannot thank them enough for the kindness and compassion they showed for Purrcee and myself. Highly recommend!
May 24, 2025 · Cindy FortierI have 3 dogs, 1 of witch is very high maintenance (belgian malinois, so not an easy breed for veterinarian staff to deal with) and making the switch to RVC has been the best experience. I am one of those (I'm sure frustrating patients 😅) patients who is very aware of any change in my dogs health and behavior and am not one to sit back and wait and see. Dr. Bachmann has been a godsend to us. She and all of the staff go above and beyond for my 3 and take everything I ask seriously and into consideration. Not once have I felt unheard and I always leave feeling better. They get me in immediately and have more answers than I do questions. They treat my dogs and I with so much respect and handle my difficult boy with ease. I am heard, my questions are answered with respect and educated answers. I can't say enough positive things about RVC and their staff. Please know my family appreciates all you do day in and day out for the beloved pets in the community! I can rest easily knowing I have them on my side! Thank you RVC!
Feb 26, 2025 · Kyra RaymondI cannot even begin to express my praises for Rutland Vet. We had an emergency with our extremely senior dog who needed to be put to sleep. They took us in the same day and did everything they could to accommodate us. The staff was exceedingly kind and compassionate during such a painful time and helped us say goodbye in the most loving and gentle way possible. Less than a week later, we went to collect his ashes, and I was even more astounded by the sympathy shown. Not only were his remains in a lovely tin box, but the entire package came with a paper paw print, a paw impression in a beautiful glittery clay, a tag with his name etched in, a fridge magnet with his name printed on, and a candle with a sticker of his name. There was even a paw-shaped mold with wildflower seeds inside for us to plant in his memory. The one that struck us both and literally brought us to tears, was a beautifully packaged shaving of his fur. We even got a letter in the post giving consolation and informing us that a donation was made in his name. It's not easy saying goodbye to an animal, but they made it as supportive and thoughtful as possible.
May 17, 2024 · SamSamButDifferentI am not happy with this last visit. dr. Burnell took my dog to the back for examination bloodwork, and x-rays that I ask for because had some concerns- why else would I spend ‘$500 I have no idea how they treated him back there, but he was not the same the rest of the night and has not been very happy today. I was not shown the x-rays so I can only assume they were done -same with blood work.— from attitude, And tone of voice I felt like I must’ve wasted her time with a healthy dog .
