Super nice staff/ employees. My dog really loves them. You will have to wait in your vehicle for all appointments. It a small vet clinic, and I understand that. I'm very happy with the with past appointments my dog has had, plus they do not charge outrageous prices on their services.

As a dedicated Pet Hospital, Rolling Hills Veterinary Clinic provides a comprehensive range of essential veterinary services aimed at maintaining the health and well-being of companion animals. Their core offerings are designed to cover preventative care, diagnostics, and treatment for common ailments. Key services typically include:

  • Routine Wellness Examinations: Regular check-ups are fundamental for monitoring a pet's overall health, detecting any potential issues early, and ensuring they receive appropriate preventative care tailored to their age, breed, and lifestyle.
  • Vaccinations: Administration of core and lifestyle-dependent vaccines to protect pets against a variety of infectious diseases, ensuring they remain healthy and protected.
  • Parasite Prevention and Control: Programs for preventing and treating internal parasites (like heartworm, roundworms, hookworms) and external parasites (fleas, ticks), which are vital for both pet health and public health.
  • Diagnostic Services: While specific details on advanced equipment might not be overtly promoted, a clinic of this nature would typically offer essential in-house diagnostics. This would include laboratory testing such as blood work (e.g., CBC, chemistry panels for organ function), urinalysis, and fecal exams to aid in diagnosing various conditions. They may also utilize external laboratories for more specialized tests.
  • Medical Consultations: Diagnosis and treatment of common illnesses, minor injuries, and chronic conditions. This involves a thorough examination, discussing symptoms with the owner, and developing a suitable treatment plan, including medication prescriptions.
  • Dental Care: While not explicitly stated in the provided reviews, most full-service veterinary clinics offer professional dental cleanings and potentially extractions to maintain oral health, which is crucial for overall pet well-being.
  • Basic Surgical Procedures: Many general practice clinics perform common soft tissue surgeries, though specific details on their surgical capabilities would need direct inquiry.
  • Nutritional Counseling: Providing advice on appropriate diets for pets at different life stages or with specific health concerns, including weight management guidance.
  • Microchipping: Offering microchip implantation for permanent pet identification, significantly increasing the chances of reunion if a pet gets lost.
The clinic's focus on "basics while still receiving quality care" suggests a strong emphasis on providing fundamental yet excellent veterinary services without unnecessary complications or inflated costs.

The defining features of Rolling Hills Veterinary Clinic, as passionately conveyed by its loyal clientele, revolve around their exceptional staff, commitment to affordability, and the gentle nature of their care. Loved this vet until 2020. It’s now 2025 and they are still doing “curbside” visits. Why?? I don’t know if my dog has actually even saw a vet the last 4 years because you call from the parking lot, a tech takes the animal in and comes back out in less than 5 minutes. How are you truly assessing them and administering vaccines in that amount of time?? When I had concerns I still was not allowed to come in. To top it all off, they upped their office visit cost. What a joke. Looking for a new vet if anyone has any suggestions
