Just moved to the area and took my dog Louie here for his annual. Had a great experience first with the front desk receptionist (Sue I think) and then Dr Eli who was very personable and down to earth. He was so good with my Louie, it was clear he liked animals, and is very knowledgeable, he also explains things well. I felt his prices were fair for his time and services provided. Will not hesitate to return with our furry family members.

Services: Comprehensive Care for Canine and Feline Companions

Rolling Hills Veterinary Clinic offers a range of services designed to address the health needs of dogs and cats throughout their lives. Based on client testimonials and general veterinary practice standards, their services likely include, but are not limited to:

  • Annual Wellness Exams: Routine check-ups are a cornerstone of preventative care, allowing veterinarians to assess overall health, detect potential issues early, and provide guidance on maintaining well-being. This is explicitly mentioned by a client who took their dog "Louie here for his annual."

  • Vaccinations: Essential for protecting pets from common and serious diseases, vaccination protocols are tailored to the individual needs of each animal.

  • Dental Care: Maintaining good oral hygiene is critical for a pet's overall health, and clinics typically offer services ranging from routine cleanings to extractions.

  • Surgical Procedures: While specific surgical capabilities are not extensively detailed, a comprehensive pet hospital usually performs common soft-tissue surgeries such as spays, neuters, and minor mass removals. Clients are advised to call to confirm eligible surgeries.

  • Diagnostics: To accurately diagnose and treat illnesses, the clinic would likely offer diagnostic services such as in-house laboratory testing (blood work, urinalysis) and potentially imaging like X-rays, though specific equipment isn't mentioned.

  • Preventative Medicine: This includes recommendations and prescriptions for flea, tick, and heartworm prevention, tailored to the pet's lifestyle and risk factors.

  • Care for Various Ages: The clinic aims to provide care for "every stage of life," from first shots for puppies and kittens to ongoing care for senior pets and end-of-life decisions.

For urgent or emergency situations that fall outside regular operating hours, clients are typically advised to contact emergency veterinary hospitals in nearby larger cities, as is common for smaller local clinics.

I been going to Doc Eli for almost 4 years. He is the best ever. However I will NOT be going back there. My dog was having some trouble delivering so, I brought her in when they opened. (Without an appointment) I was worried because it was taking so long for her to deliver the first puppy. When they opened I got my dog in her dog bed out my car. When I walked in with her they asked if I had an appointment and what was going on. I told them then very rudely she said that Doc Eli wouldn’t be in til 9 and he had a surgery coming in. That wasn’t to long to wait for him. Then one lady said they are not an emergency clinic ( I didn’t know that ) so I then was directed to go to Madison to an emergency vet. (Very rudely) Madison is 1 hour and 45 minutes away. I just wanted her examined by my vet and then he could direct me if I needed to go to Madison. One lady then told me I wouldn’t have this problem if I had my dog spayed. I told her if I wanted her spayed then I would have already. So rude!( my dog is 5 yrs old and this is her first and last litter of puppies.) thanks pink scrub lady! I will not refer not 1 more person to them. Anyone I have referred to them will my be returning to them because of this.

Dr. Eli takes wonderful care of all 4 of my kitties. He also takes care of my sisters cats and moms fur babies as well. We will never go to another primary vet again!! Dr. Eli is very knowledgeable, smart, resourceful, kind, understanding, patient, and straight to the point. Once you're established he treats your babies as if they are his own. Also he makes time to see everyone so you dont have to wait months for an appointment! As an added plus, his rates aren't going to break the bank! Appointments are at a good price and he does his best to keep surgeries within a reasonable amount. Dr.Eli really understands how much pets mean and puts them before money! I wish i could give him a higher rating!
