November 2024: With winter quickly approaching, Suzy has chosen her winter coat!! October 28th, 2024: Another successful visit with a veterinarian at Rockford Road Animal Hospital. My darling miniature schnauzer was exhibiting some soreness in one of her front legs. She was evaluated and is currently undergoing treatment to relieve the discomfort. It is so nice to be able to call the office and schedule an appointment for my treasured pup. Thanks again for your expertise. Summer 2024: Rockford Road Animal Hospital has provided exceptional care for my 12 1/2 year old miniature schnauzer, Suzy. She loves to go in, she loves the staff, and she also is happy to leave as she prances her way back out to the car. Suzy had her teeth done several months ago. Having our canine's teeth done is controversial with many owners. In Suzy's case, teeth health is a must do project at the veterinarian's office. Suzy was treated with kid gloves as she underwent anesthesia, had a few teeth removed (for the tooth fairy!!), and woke up in recovery with exceptional oversight. Thank you to the staff and doctors at Rockford for such great animal care.

Truly the best veterinary clinic I have taken my cats. All of the veterinarians and clinic staff are so friendly & kind, and the overall atmosphere is comfortable, welcoming, and inclusive. I physically drive past other veterinary clinics on my way to the Rockford Road Animal Hospital, and it’s worth every added minute to the drive!

My dog Jones and I trusted them all right away and they were able to quickly and easily help my pup with an ear infection. Appreciate their services and would recommend to anyone. thanks!

Rockford is fabulous. My family has been taking our animals to Rockford for over twenty years. Now with my own cat and dog I have worked with Dr. Morrow and Dr. Arend and they are both absolutely fabulous! I will always bring my animals here.

Dr. Ahrend is so thorough, kind, and honest. I really like her and I'm glad I switched to this veterinarian. The front desk staff is always very polite and everyone has good customer service skills. Yes, it's more expensive than say, Banfield, but they're spending the extra time and effort to ensure your pet is healthy, comfortable, and safe. She caught my dog's heart disease in the latest stage when I switched over to them and for that, I'm so grateful. The medications have kept it where it's at and I'm not sure my dog would be here without Dr. Ahrend's thoroughness and recommendations. I cannot thank you enough for saving my baby and allowing us to have more time together. Thank you Dr. Ahrend! I also bring my 4-year-old rescued miniature American shepherd and 1-year-old Persian kitty here. They send out text reminders and have an app to request appointments which is super convenient. The only complaint I have is the points system- you must tell the front desk staff you want to get points for the service you had that day, if you don't, they don't give you the points. One of the girls was kind enough to go back a few appointments for me but had I known this I would've earned so many points by now with all these animals and their frequent vet visits. 😅
