My ex took my 2-year-old Aussie doodle here after I left him. They put her down because hr told them to. She was the healthiest and most loving dog ever. No one called me or anything! The lady I talked to over the phone, when frantically trying to find my beloved dog knowing my ex had taken her to a vet, told me she knew something wasn’t right and she had a manager break the news to me… Rest in peace, Zelda. She deserved better. We need more pure hearted vets who will make the best decisions for these animals. This vet is not one of them

Welcome to Robertson County Animal Clinic, P.C.
Welcome to the introduction of Robertson County Animal Clinic, P.C., a local establishment categorized under Pet Hospitals, dedicated to providing veterinary care and related services in Springfield, Tennessee. Located at 800 5th Ave E E, Springfield, TN 37172, USA, the clinic can be reached by phone at (615) 384-5393 or via mobile at +1 615-384-5393. This introduction aims to provide local users with a detailed overview of the clinic based on available information, including its environment, services, features, and insights from customer reviews.
As a Pet Hospital, Robertson County Animal Clinic, P.C. likely offers a range of medical and surgical services aimed at maintaining and improving the health and well-being of pets. These services typically encompass routine check-ups, vaccinations, preventative care, diagnostic procedures, treatment for illnesses and injuries, and surgical interventions. Pet hospitals often serve as a primary point of contact for pet owners seeking professional medical attention for their animals.
Based on the limited information available, specifically the customer reviews, it is challenging to provide a comprehensive description of the clinic's environment and specific features. However, we can infer some aspects based on the nature of veterinary clinics and the feedback provided. A typical pet hospital environment includes examination rooms where veterinarians can assess animals, a reception area for clients, and potentially surgical suites, diagnostic imaging areas (like X-ray or ultrasound), and recovery wards for animals undergoing treatment or surgery. Cleanliness, organization, and a comforting atmosphere are usually considered important aspects of a positive pet hospital environment.
Regarding the services offered, while a detailed list is not provided, the mention of "knowledgeable doctors" suggests that the clinic employs qualified veterinarians capable of diagnosing and treating various animal health issues. The reference to caring for dogs "from pups to end of life" indicates that the clinic likely provides a spectrum of services catering to different life stages of pets, including puppy and kitten care, adult health maintenance, and geriatric care. The phrase "truly professionals" in one of the positive reviews implies a commitment to a high standard of veterinary practice.
However, it is crucial to address the contrasting and deeply concerning negative reviews. One review describes a tragic situation where a customer's healthy dog was allegedly euthanized without their consent, based on the instructions of an ex-partner. The reviewer expresses profound grief and questions the clinic's decision-making process and lack of communication. This review raises serious concerns about the clinic's protocols, particularly regarding communication with multiple owners and the ethical considerations surrounding end-of-life decisions.
Another part of the same negative review mentions a staff member who seemed aware that "something wasn’t right" and involved a manager in breaking the news. This suggests that there might have been internal awareness or discussion about the situation, but it does not mitigate the distress experienced by the pet owner. The call for "more pure hearted vets who will make the best decisions for these animals" underscores the emotional impact of such incidents on pet owners and the importance of trust in veterinary professionals.
In contrast, a separate review offers positive feedback, stating that "the doctors are very knowledgeable and very good with dogs" and that "the staff is very nice and thorough." This reviewer also mentions a long-term positive experience with "Greenbrier -Springfield Animal Hospital" (it is unclear if this is an older name for Robertson County Animal Clinic, P.C. or a related entity, but the address provided is for Robertson County Animal Clinic, P.C.). They highlight the clinic's ability to care for their dogs throughout their lives, emphasizing the professionalism of the staff.
Given these conflicting accounts, it is challenging to form a definitive and uniformly positive picture of Robertson County Animal Clinic, P.C. While one customer praises the knowledgeable doctors and professional staff based on 12 years of experience, the other describes a deeply disturbing incident with severe ethical implications. Potential local users should consider both perspectives when evaluating this pet hospital.
It is important to note that online reviews represent individual experiences and may not reflect the entirety of the services and care provided by Robertson County Animal Clinic, P.C. However, the gravity of the negative review, particularly concerning the alleged unauthorized euthanasia of a healthy pet, warrants serious consideration. Responsible pet ownership involves entrusting the health and well-being of animals to veterinary professionals, and incidents that erode this trust can have a significant impact on the community.
For local users considering Robertson County Animal Clinic, P.C. for their pet care needs, it would be prudent to seek further information and clarification. This could involve contacting the clinic directly to inquire about their protocols, especially regarding communication with multiple owners, end-of-life decisions, and ethical guidelines. Speaking with the clinic management may provide additional context or reassurance.
Furthermore, exploring other local pet hospitals and veterinary clinics in the Springfield, TN area might be beneficial to compare services, environments, and customer feedback. Gathering information from multiple sources can help pet owners make informed decisions about where to entrust the care of their beloved animals.
In conclusion, Robertson County Animal Clinic, P.C., located in Springfield, TN, is listed as a Pet Hospital offering veterinary services. While one long-term customer speaks positively about the knowledgeable doctors and professional staff, another review details a deeply concerning incident involving the alleged euthanasia of a healthy pet without the owner's consent or notification. This conflicting feedback suggests a need for potential local users to exercise caution and seek further information before making a decision regarding their pet's care at this clinic. It is recommended to contact the clinic directly and possibly explore alternative options in the area to ensure the best possible care for their animals.

Nov 17, 2024 · Joylyn BukovacThe doctors are very knowledgeable and very good with dogs. The staff is very nice and thorough they are great. Have been going to Greenbrier -Springfield Animal Hospital for 12 years. They have cared for my dogs from pups to end of life. They truly professionals.
Feb 22, 2025 · Harold BeardI took my cat here because he was having trouble breathing. I told them I was on a budget. Half of the bill they charged me for was because they found 3 fleas they said during the exam and sold me the medicine for fleas before I realized it. Me nor the cat was worried about 3 fleas. I wanted and told them he couldn't breathe. They don't care. All about money. My cat died 3 weeks later because it couldn't breathe
Mar 31, 2025 · Jeff RagsdaleRobertson County Animal Clinic is our choice for Vet Care in Nashville. Initially, while living one city over, it was easy to choose RCAC for our one dog's care. They made easy appointments and always treated us and our dog respectfully. Now, living almost 20 miles away and adding two more dogs, we still use RCAC for all our dog's medical care. They are incredibly competent, great listeners, and always have the time to explain what's happening. If you are in need for excellent dog or cat care, RCAC must be among those on the top of your list.
Jan 12, 2025 · Jim ForemanUpdated: December 13, 2024 I said it then, and I’d say it now. They care about your pets wellbeing and your pocket. Today, I had a follow up appointment for an emergency visit I made with my chow. The follow up appointment was 7 days from the initial appointment. I was in the waiting room for less than 5 minutes, seen by the vet within 10 minutes of arrival. They provided me long term solution for my chow and sent me on my way. It was quick, affordable and easy. Thank you for always taking great care of us! Original: November 2021 I love this clinic and have gone here for the better part of 5 years. They care deeply about the overall wellbeing of your pet, the practicality of their services and your pocket. They have fit me in in times of emergency and sent me a condolence card upon a pet passing. It’s the little things that have made us feel valued here.
